- The house has been gone for 200 years and all that is left is the pile of rocks from the chimney stack and the cellar hole. We took our Fisher metal detectors there and started detecting and digging. We pulled up a ton of stones and got down to the deep dirt and started finding relics. The history of this old place goes back to the mmid 1700s so we know the stuff is old. Digging at old places like this is always going to be good, you just have to work hard to find it.

We dug down under this old chimney & found stuff from the 1700s
Nice button haul … and cool footage of the porcupine. Listening to the sound of the creek was very relaxing
That's a great closing shot. A whistle pig climbing a tree!
That's a porcupine. But I've seen groundhogs climb pretty high up in trees before too.
I always enjoy thursdays here
Love watching you guys find stuff!
The runoff and creek bed was just gorgeous! Water always finds a way!
If you did that here in the south you would be pulling uyp copperheads, scorpions and/or centipedes. If none of those varmints get you, the poison oak/ivy would.
Thank YOU !
Imagine - those early settlers hunkered down around that fireplace during a New England snowstorm...
Excellent video 🥳
Great video
Good teamwork indeed...WTG guys! - SB
An good hunt!
A rock star episode with encore results. Satisfying
Man it is sooo good to get to come home and watch stealth diggers...been away fora long time due to health reasons.... some body get me up to date with every thing and everyone,Wheres keebs at miss seeing him also miss the getting together with all the gang at charlies place. god bless see ya soon in the time continuim
Good finds. A lot of rock moving, but worth it. Stay safe
YES, I love the relics you dug today!
Just a little water flow.... haven't seen that much in a while. Love a good chimney dig.
Thanks for the other comments, as I didn't actually know what was climbing up the tree.
Porcupine
Love the watch winding key. Brain is thinking of several old chimney stacks I may go dig through!!! Awesome example of our amazing hobby. Thank you for sharing!
Americans always get so excited over Britain's historical buildings, then when they find an historical site in America they dismantle all the stones, they dig it up and completely annihilate the place. Keep these places as sites of historical interest and stop damaging and looting them!!
First time watching your channel. Amazing finding these remainders of history past. Settlers living there in the 1700, 1800's. Thank you for replacing the rocks and the soil.
What a great day! The relics were really great and the porcupine was icing on the cake! If you could haul out those flat rocks, you could make a fortune selling them for rock features in yards!!
Rock on!
I grew up in Milford. did LOTS of metal detecting. Old Town Francistown was a great spot. found axe heads, and old brick that says 75 on it. no-one was there in 1875 or 1675.. also found a "Duke of Wellington" medal, from Wellingtons contribution to Napoleon in Waterloo... What is was dong there??
Who got the first soaker on the way in? Once you get past that 4" layer of peat covering the original ground, the targets start poppin'. Congrats fellas on all the great finds.
That was one amazing find! The colonial scissors! I honestly don't think I've seen on any other metal detecting channel find a pair! Good job!
Great 👌 finds guys 😊
Men, that was a all out excavation. Outstanding!
Another great episode. Thanks for sharing. Take care!
I Love the way you guys take time to share !! ♥️
You guys really rock love your channel
I’ve had that happen while hiking down a mountain in New Hampshire, with a full backpack! Fun times.
the loss of a pair of sewing ss sors would be a great loss in 1700's my mom would be heart broken if she lost hers
That was fun 🤓😁
I would love to dig an old chimney stack. So many interesting things in/under them. At least you got your weight lifting workout with moving all those rocks. Love the video guys!!😊
Wow that’s really going beyond! Great job!
Dang that snow melt really did a number in that location 😮 Yay Waynos a beauty of a watch winding key!!!
Dang Digger Charlie and Digger Dame you two really worked for those button finds and the table knife too, bravo 😃
Since you found a pair of scissors, I wonder if the buttons you also found came from the lady of the house's button box.
Porcupine’s climbing trees hmmm who knew? ...ok, maybe I’m the only one who didn’t
Nice ending
I didn't know lol
Yeah tree bark is a large part of their diet.
I live 30” from the Canadian Rocky Mountains; absolutely porcupines climb trees! Seen them up in trees a number of times in the back country while back packing. They are big porcupines.
Awesome video! I didn't know Porkupines climbed Treas!
Nice bit of Diggin in the stack!!! We have had a family quill pigs in the willow tree lately
Good to see so many buttons saved!
Incredible! What an amazing haul!
Every time you boys moved a stone you found a relic! Sure you ain't in a cemetery? Just kidding. I could watch you guys all day.
That is so amazing. Really gets the mind thinking of the past. If those items could talk!
Where are you guys at Water World ?
I want those large Stones 😊
Leave no rock unturned !😊
Makes me want to go trout fishing. Just starting to be spring up there - or is this an older vid?
That was a few weeks ago
@@waynosphotography4719 I wish you guys would state the date the video was recorded somewhere in ALL your videos.
Where in NH?
Your boy is a creek jumper!
Awesome adventure and finds! Also, I made my first o light order a few days ago and used your code for the discount, thank you!
Slightly interesting 🤔🤔🤔🤔.❤
I could setup a chair right in the middle of that stream and fall asleep
Nice day for you guys outdoors and the fines not bad iam tried let's go home 👍
Sewing box or basket hu?
Thanks for breaking your backs for our entertainment 👍
Where is creek from ?
What happened to the intro that you all used to do Charlie
I am inspired to move a brick pile in woodsy area on my west TN prop. But i will wait for cooler weather to avoid snakes, poison ivy, ticks, chiggars, gnats, mosquitos (shall i continue lol?). Also thinkin i need a small coil.
Let’s go let’s go treasure 🌺💕✌️👵
Wheres Keebs ?
🛸
What was the animal climbing the tree at the end. Had fun watching you guys treasure hunt. Cheers from Tasmania!
guy in the dark blue hat is handsome. and very enthusiastic. :-)
Damn, the guy in the green plays while the other one works hard to move the stones... Guess he's afraid to get his hands dirty?
My question when all 3 of you are digging the same spot how do you determine who gets what?
Wouls love to join you guys some day,,New Aub.
This is why archeologists don’t like guys with metal detectors. If they’ve been here before, and suspected it was a 1700s site, they’re destroying the site.
Where are you? NY, Ct, Ma..?
I didn't know that porcupines climbed trees
THE TIMES
“God put that rock there for a purpose... and, um... I'm not so sure you should, um... move it...”
The Goonies-1985
I'd be thinking your liable to find the body , or bones, that go with those buttons.😮
Now that's 3 Democat-looking things for sure..
Your" granite rock " might have been a lead bag seal
In Germany it is a crime to dig like this.
It must have been a button factory.
First?
You are 1st
I really like watching your videos because I am from Northern Massachusetts and I enjoy the Metal detecting, but this video doesn’t seem to me like the stealth digging you were pulling rocks, indiscriminately that to me seemed a little off
I feel kinda awkwardly bad taking apart the fallen stacks too- but I try to leave it as original as possible on the exit
I'm glad they explained the stones were returned to their exact position. Open to misinterpretation.
Scissors, buttons, etc. There must have been women homemakers.
So you destroy a historic homestead chimney site....for buttons? And call it a win!!!
Did you replace the stones at least?
Did you watch the video?
you guys are brave crossing that brook
surprised the state would allow you to destroy those foundations or walls.
