I do the practice test under timed conditions but do the blind review untimed. And then I review the questions I got wrong during the blind review. I really like this method because it makes sure I spend most of my time reviewing the questions I don't know instead of reviewing every question. I hope that helps!

I studied the foundations for about 3 months before I started taking prep tests! I used 7Sage modules and completed their lessons.
