First aid kit, mattress protector (so you don’t get bed bugs), some sort of coffee maker, a heating pad, command hooks, printer ink and paper, fan, shower caddy, laundry detergent

Hi! I'm going into my senior year of high school this year so I've been binge watching college videos over the summer to mentally prep for applications/college stuff (FSU is main choice with UCF as a pretty close 2nd) and your videos are very insightful! I was wondering when you started buying your college dorm stuff? My family wants to buy stuff for Christmas + my birthday in April, and I'm not sure if that's too soon, because some stuff would be better to consult with my roommate(s) for based on some of the videos I've seen, or if I'm just over-thinking it (Bed stuff, food, and clothes are obviously individual but appliances, printer, etc. is what I'm mainly concerned about) So I was wondering when you'd recommend starting to buy dorm stuff, and if you remember when you got official confirmation of your roommate from FSU after requesting to dorm with your friend. Thanks for your videos and your help!
Gregory LaFary Hi! I started buying dorm stuff the summer before my first year of college & some toward the end of senior year in high school. Mostly because yes u can consult with ur roommate and also more college stuff actually comes out onto the shelves !

Why do people always say “obviously your beds are lofted” maybe not for everyone but I pretty sure in majority of dorms the bed do not have to be lofted they can be put down and furniture can be rearranged
Superfan well most people loft them because it creates more space in small dorm rooms. I’m pretty sure that’s why everyone says that. But u can always bring it down if u would like :)
