    For god sake somebody do some research before you discuss a topic publicly on national radio......since Henderson has gone to Ajax they've gone from being near the relegation zone last season to this season being in a title race, 2nd in the league and 3 points off the top spot....and yes Henderson plays every week and is already been made the captain! So he's been doing just fine if you cared to look into it 😂😂😂

The misinformation came in when journalist made it out that he's unprofessional and didn't want to be there and the club didn't come out to clarify the situation effectively hanging him out to dry. It’s frankly disgusting to hear Simon Jordan so eagerly discrediting Jordan Henderson and paint him like an immoral person. Jordan Henderson, who opted to stay at Liverpool and fight for his place, when the manager (Brendan Rodgers) wanted to sell. Jordan Henderson who was constantly ridiculed fir not being Steven Gerrard; only to become the Liverpool captain after Gerrard and going on to lift more major trophies than Gerrard did, including the first League title in 30 years. As Liverpool captain Henderson took his role very seriously which included supporting the LGBT community. When Henderson was told by Klopp that he would be more of a squad player going forward, Henderson got a huge offer from Saudi Arabia and chose to go there…like Ronaldo. Gerrard, Mane, Firmino, Neymar and countless others. But Henderson was the one being singled out for grabbing the cash rather than boycotting the LGBT unfriendly footballing Middle East, a region who recently held a World Cup, where - by the way - the ever so righteous Simon Jordan flew out to, no problem. And when Henderson decided that playing football was more important than counting money, Simon Jordan was again ready to ridicule Henderson. And now to this latest debacle: Simon Jordan is again after Henderson, without knowing the truth behind it. Jim White knew better, but didn’t show the part of the press conference where Jordan Henderson explained that he never requested to leave, but Ajax saw a possible transfer as a chance to get one of their best paid players off their wages. This was NOT Henderson engineering a move away. I recommend everyone to listen to the full post match press conference. Jordan Henderson is a model pro and deserves better. I used to like Simon Jordan, but the way he’s been so willingly smearing Jordan Henderson is simply disgusting.

    Jordan is making assumptions based on his opinion of the player rather than the actual circumstances (which he seems to know nothing about). The journalists published stories that Henderson wanted to leave. Henderson said that this wasn't true and implied that the club wanted to sell him due to their financial issues. He wasn't happy because of the effect the stories have had on his family. It seems from watching the whole presser that Henderson didn't want to give specifics because he doesn't want to get into a spat with the club. The journalists kept pushing the point and the whole thing went on for about 15 minutes. They should have showed an earlier clip rather than a latter clip in which Henderson has clearly had enough of being asked the same question.

    Jesus wept at least do research on what you are discussing. If you watched the whole 15 minute interview he said he does not want to leave. The club negotiated behind his back to sell him. They wanted a fee from Monaco and they wouldn’t pay one. When he had the chance to leave Liverpool under Rodgers who didn’t want him he stayed even though he hardly played in Rodgers first season. He could have left the season before under Klopp but chose to stay. In the season he left Liverpool Klopp told him he had to move on and wasn’t in his plans for the rebuild. So you’ve jumped on one scenario in Saudi and thrown in utter nonsense about the LGBT+ that has nothing to do with a contract at a club or leaving a club. The Key to this is who instigated the move - if the first Henderson heard of it was Ajax saying Monaco are interested- we would like you to consider leaving to get you off the payroll etc - then he could have just said that - but he didn’t - when asked if Ajax wanted to sell him- his answer was that he assumed so, as they were negotiating with Monaco - but that doesn’t mean they instigated it - whenever he was asked more direct questions he used phrases like 99% lies, I’m not giving you details - vague non specific - but the devils in the detail and I think he would have said the details if it put him in a more favourable light, here’s what I think may have happened - Henderson instigated and wanted to move - he knew Ajax were in a bad situation financially- so thought getting himself off the books would be in their interest as well as his - when Monaco wouldn’t pay a fee - the deal collapsed and Henderson probably not happy about it - I may be wrong - but if the club hung him out to dry - he had every opportunity to set the record straight - and although he spoke strongly and passionately and was quite impressive at times - he was also very vague - when there was no need to be if the club was driving the move, he should have stayed at Liverpool - made poor career choices in the last couple of years - don’t forget he was still in the England squad when he chose to go to Saudi and would have played at the Euros in 2024 had he not chose 2nd rate Saudi league - a real shame - great player for Liverpool - just tarnishes a great career a little - I hope he chooses well next time and gets to play out his last year or two with no drama

    Dutch tabloids have been bashing Henderson and the new Italian coach Farioli out of xenophobia. Ajax have had disastrous 2 seasons after Ten Hag left but have this year performed extremely well in the domestic league and in Europe. Henderson has received a lot of credits from credible Dutch media. The discussion on talkSport is completely void of substance.

      like there havent been good foreign players for ajax sun the past which the media didn't attack. has little to do with xenophobia (for some it probably is). personally i don't agree with the critique either but i do understand why people dislike farioli. simple answer: he plays boring football. gets great result but is not Ajax's style that's why people criticize him. I don't mind it for this year but for next season the fans will demand more offensive football.

      @@stijndemooij868 The criticism Farioli and Henderson receive from the tabloids is unparalleled with the critique they would give Dutch coaches and players. Ajax is performing extremely well under Farioli considering he almost had the same squad as last year most Dutch pundits referred to as 'amateurs'. The Dutch coaches in charge at Ajax the last years not only failed miserably, the football was extremely boring and completely defensive. Ajax played with 5 defenders and had 2 CDM's. Completely unheard of but something which Dutch pundits and many fans were pushing for. Farioli however, because he is a foreigner, 'doesn't understand Ajax'. Completely laughable and hypocritical.

    • @stijndemooij868
      @stijndemooij868 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I agree with you farioli is doing extremely well this season you miss my point. If Henderson earned 2 mln instead of like 5mln would also have made a big difference in the medias opinion (Antony gets judged on his 100mln price tag aswel, it’s just how it works). It’s not like Dutch players don’t get critique, just like Kenneth Taylor past season. For some in the media it’s definitely xenophobia which I already said but not the majority. I don’t agree with the critique about farioli but ten hag in his first season got the media against him the whole time until he really stepped up with the squad. The major complaints was that he didn’t fit the Ajax culture aswel while he was Dutch. Farioli gets way less critique than ten hag did. Coaches and players get a lot of critique al the time except in 2018 2019 lol.

    • @Attack_is_the_Best_Defense

      @@stijndemooij868 I never talked about the xenophobia of all the Dutch media but a specific tabloid that loves to stir the pot. A gossip rag or litter box filler.
      By the way, the reason that Farioli receives a little less critique than Ten Hag at the beginning of his time at Ajax is because Farioli is grinding out results. It also helps that Farioli has charisma where Ten Hag did not.
