Yes its brake failure
From what I think on frist brakes still worked like Hamilton in Baku 2021 but in second one brakes diseapered (I don't have an example) pd (in my opinion)

How do you create the Mechanical Failiure of the engine?
as far as i know you can spam extinguish as much as you can while in slowmo
Warm up your engine to 130°C by hiting the throttle and brake at same time, you can see the temperature on steering wheel by click T on keyboard, after getting 130°C ,just driving your car under a minute ,you will see smoke come out from you engine

for suspension and tyres use node grabber, for engine go into slow mo and spam extinguish
