To stem away another strong surge of water is a good preventative strategy. Remember, what water gives, it takes away as well! Is there any emergency flood lighting on the property? So you could take action during the storm if needed! The catfish helped dispose of the damage!, luckily! I am amazed how those cute goats were born during the storm! Your farm was blessed again! If prone to flood make shelters like your chick brooder raised off the ground so atleast over night they are high and dry away from danger. Always welcome to reach out to me for help as previously offered I want you to succeed and happy to pass on my knowledge and suggestions.

chickens are like birds, they like jumping on trees, so you can place some woods like the one you need for the snakes in earlier video or the praketee

Problems is the key for a solution
We experienced similar on our farm this rainy season in Thailand. A local dam broke which flooded our fishing lake & marooned our goat house.
