Jeff, thanks for the honest review. They are harder to find these days. I'll pass on this one. Already returned a DreameTech because it got confused with a rug with a high contrast pattern (black/white). I guess it triggered the stairs IR sensor. It also could not get onto an 18mm rug. The search continues. Did you find one you are happy with?
Thanks for the great video. You mention switching to a higher mode for carpet suction, or changing how long mop runs, etc. where do you do that from? I can’t even figure out how to switch from vacuuming to mopping.
I've been trying to get the Yeedi Map Station Pro to work for the last two days. And by last two days, I mean that I have had to go rescue it approximately every 10 minutes for literally the entire day. I came to watch this to see if I should do their trade in program and get the Cube model. This was helpful for me to see that Yeedi just kind of sucks (and not in a way you want a vacuum to). Their app/mapping experience is the WORST. And as far as a dual unit, my old (not smart) Bissell outperforms mine and it looks like yours as well. It's ability to do a decent job vacuuming while it mops just isn't there. I didn't want to cough up Roborock money, but it looks like that is the smart move. I thought maybe I just had a defective unit, but I think they just aren't a very good brand at the end of the day.
Thank you, almost bought one then as I watched another raving review, wherein the presenter says Yeedi paid for this but these are my thoughts, yeah okay, none have mentioned anything like you said and jeesh!!! For 700 bucks it should know when it's out of water. My old Scooba from iRobot stopped in the middle of cleaning to inform the owner it needed it's water tank refilled, and that was an impressive machine too, no they make a Swiffer pad pusher lol, I don't get it, like back in 2004, that was the future and now it's like they went stupid with the Brava or whatever. Thought about two machines but then I don't want to maintain two machines. Thought this was a fair thing to try and now for our needs I'm not so sure. Thank you, I've subscribed and thumbs up!
I CANNOT find where to get help for this machine. Works fine but WILL NOT empty into the dirty water reservoir. It just goes all over my floor! I purchased at Best Buy but nothing will help me trouble shoot this issue.
You did well. Unfortunately, I made the error to wait too much, and now I can not return it. This robot really sucks (as well as the extremely basic mobile app)
Naah, that's not what I understand under automating the boring stuff. It just makes you do the boring stuff less often. Imagine the station has a fresh and dirt water connection.. This is what automating the boring stuff is like.
Terrible robot: it worked fine for a couple of months, then it started behaving randomly, it doesn't find the station anymore, I had the bad idea to let it recreate the map, hoping that he would have better recognised the rooms: now it's being more than one month that it doesn't manage to recreate the map of the apartment (a very regular 65sq mt one) I didn't change anything in the decoration or furniture: it just started functioning really badly. I have had it since 8 months

This is such a good review. It feels genuine. No gimmicks, no funky review voice. I appreciate this very much. Keep up the great work.

its under the advance settings under the robot. There is a Carpet Clean Preferences where you can enable auto boost suction.

Thanks for the home assistant info

Yea. I don't think I'm going to be asked to review another one from them after this.
You should really try the roborock S8 Ultra

....Looking for A REPLACEMENT BATTERY for this thing .....Where??
What problems had you? 😁 I tried selecting a room and it drove out, waiting a few seconds and then just said it's complete 🤣
Bought this on Amazon and returned it because this is a junk machine. The mop is a joke. Thank you Amazon for letting me return it.

For $700, the layout of my apartment and the inability to incorporate with HA, I'm going to vacuum and mop the place myself.
Just got one yeedi cube, and couldn’t map for the 2nd floor, does anybody knows how to set up MaP2
I am trying to the same no clue!!!!

Weird. Mine seems to still be doing ok. But it does seem to have mapping issues. I will for sure do a follow up review on this one.
