True, they gave crypto in general a bad name it was once used by legit projects for fund raisings and so on, now it's mostly just scammers trying to eat new comers

Exactly.. You know.. If you had bought $14 of Shib in January... It would be worth $1 million dollars today. 90% of these coins will be scams.. But not all people are bad... And there are ways to protect yourself.... Do your research.. Make sure the dev team have doxed themselves... Make sure the liquidity is locked... If the devs own wallets.. Get transparency on that...... Go for a coin where there are no huge % wallets...etc....just be savvy. You should be fine...... A good use case helps

I've been scam too several times. I invested $800 in safemoon. It later remained $32, and funniest thing is that $32 may rise to $120 in a second eye blink, it goes back to $22, I started suspecting something is fishing. Thanks for this video, don't be scammed guys

If someone buys 70% of the supply for lets say 5 SOL and you hold the other 30%, how can the price of the coin go up from there? Is it possible to buy the coin through different accounts, and when you hold 100% of the coin, you can set the price? Or is that not realistic? I just don't get how for example DOGE or SHIBA got such a high market cap and didn't have the liquidity in the beginning... Can you explain that to me? I hope you reply :)

This is probably more detrimental than helpful, since I guarantee at least a few people will watch this And actually try and create a scam coin.
People have been doing this for years in crypto. Most people won't watch a video on "how to spot crypto scams" so I wanted to reframe the same content for people to understand how the process works.
...alternatively, if everyone makes a scam coin then the public awareness of crypto scams will grow even faster.

We’re about to find out! My guess is you don’t pay CertiK and go through all of the hoops unless you’re certain you’re clean. Why waste the time and money? Doesn’t make any sense to do that.

Should have subbed to you long ago, Dan! Your videos on crypto are exceptional! Had a friend ask about Safemoon the other day and suggested to him, no! Now granted, I wouldn't be surprised if I touched other scam coins in the market, but again that's why it's important to do due diligence and understand what you're buying.
Of course doing your due diligence before investing in something is incredibly important. It's also important to do your due diligence before outright shutting your friend down if they come to you for advice.
