    After watching us reel in close game after close game to close out the season, I literally never had a doubt we'd win this game as I was watching it.

    Frantic ending? Do you know what that word means? There was 4 mins on the clock when TB tied it up and the Commanders went down and meticulously moved the ball and drained the clock and kicked the game winner with zero time on the clock so that if they missed it would just mean overtime. Nothing frantic about that at all. As a matter of fact it's the way that this offense has operated all season which is why they have 6 wins on the last drive of the game and why they have the highest 4th down conversion rate in the league.
    And yeah, I love Daniels, but I do get tired of the rest of the team being treated like they are some bums off the street. Luvu, Wagner, Crowder, Payne, Allen, Lattimore....those are all extremely good players. The o-line was overhauled and Ertz is old, but playing at a high level. As great as Terry is, he is not the only WR who is talented. But my last point about the entire team and the coaching staff is the fact that we won two games with Mariota at the helm.
    And of course you don't fire Bowles.

      They definitely aren't treated like bums off the street. When it comes to the defense, they haven't performed well. Our offense dominates TOP which keeps the ball out of the opponents hands which helps the defensive stats. Also, Crowder is not an "extremely good player". He's always been a return guy that comes in when another receiver is down. He's had 1 good game. Allen missed a massive amount of the season due to injury and didn't make a big impact when he was in. Lattimore has barely played for us this year and when he has, hes been a non factor. Probably due to rust. Allen and Payne were supposed to be locking down the run game, yet we're ranked 30th against the run. Wagner and Luvu have been MASSIVE additions and they get their due praise, hence both of them being second team all pros this year. Terry is easily our star with him now having 5 years in a row of 1000 yards. Dyami has been stepping up and so has OZ, but they don't offer what Terry does. Coaching has created a culture as soon as AP brought DQ in 100%. Kliff has been huge for JD's development knowing how to put him in great positions. Bonus is that they can plug in Mariota because he has a similar game. You can't depend on him for an extended period of time (as shown in the rest of his career) but he has easily been the best guy to back up JD. Also, DQ is still in people's coach of the year discussions so he isnt being over looked either. Point is, yes JD has been getting a ton of attention but thats because he's having the best year for a rookie QB in history. So he's earned that. But just because he's had that, doesn't mean everyone else forgets about everyone else in the locker room.

      @@RushISVarietyB Wrong Crowder...I was talking defense. Allen was out until last week with a torn pec...my fantasy is that the defense has learned the system and gotten better, Allen and Payne together with Newton could be the dominate force up front (or at least tighten up vs. the run) and with Lattimore who has a lot of rust and has drawn Brown and Evans in his two starts (not exactly easy matchups), but he is absolutely an upgrade over St. Juiste. And yeah, the TOP is a HUGE factor in the overall team strategy. When the defense stopped TB and held them to a game tying FG, the cameras cut to Terry and the guys smiling and nodding....they knew they were going to go out there, run 4 minutes off the clock, move the ball into position and kick it to win it. The defense did their job. Just like they did vs. the Eagles, vs. the Bengals, vs. the Cowboys and even vs. the Ravens and Steelers when they were hot. TB was the only game we got blown out in and that loss has been avenged.

    • @RushISVarietyB
      @RushISVarietyB 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @MostlyElectrolytes i definitely don't wanna argue with a fellow Washington brother but there are factors that lead to all these. That stop late in the game was due to the center snapping the ball early. None of the OL moved which let us push thru very easily because they were off guard and stop bucky. I'll definitely say Lattimore is rusty and has some leeway. But the other games you mentioned, the D was getting owned until late in the game. Bengals put up 33 on us, Ravens 27, Cowboys put up 38 and 34 on us, and the eagles put up 33 on us with Kenny Pickett playing 3 Q's. Im definitely not saying we're terrible on D but we haven't been necessarily good. D has stepped up in important spots and luckily for us, we have JD5, Terry,Oz, Brown, and good coaching to get us down the field and score points when we need it most.

      @RushISVarietyB 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @MostlyElectrolytes id also LOVE to see Allen, Payne, and Newton get some chemistry and start shutting down the run game, which we've done better as of late. I'd point out that most of the opponents big runs and big yards come from when they take it outside

      Nobody is saying they are bums, but change out the QB with San Howell, Wentz, Heineken and we win 4 to 6 games. I appreciate the entire team, but this QB is the difference maker.

    I don’t think you will find a tougher defense than what TB presented.
    They were fast, physical, and kept #5 relatively contained (run wise).
    Their run d was nuts! And their schemes had ole boy under pressure the whole game!

    Tampa Bay did not control this game like many want to see. The commanders left a lot of points on the field. Washington easily should've scored in the 30s but they didn't capitalize in the red zone.
