Thanks for the beginner's tips for using this- it works great at providing a bit of privacy + even difuses the outdoor light, providing more even, glare-free interior daylight. Five stars!

Can you spray this on glass light fixtures or will the heat from the bulb compromise it?

  • @xMrBlack

Wait, how can the spray be harder to remove, but be less durable?

Messy. It gums up when removing it, so it's tedious not hard. Contact paper can be pulled off in one easy swoop, usually.

Great demonstration/how-to! We have a few windows where this may not be a bad idea. It's also nice to see that it can be easily removed if for some reason we decided to later on down the road. Would love to see a follow up in a few months to see how it holds up!

I am getting a garage door with glass and wonder how this will hold up and how long. I love the look of windowed garage doors but I dont want anyone to be able to look in and see if Im home or not. It gets hot where I live. Wonder how it holds up in a hot garage.

i have a yellow coloured glass and i dont want that colour any more. Will this product cover this colour after applying? Have you used it only on clear transparnt glass?

Light passing through would still have a yellow tint no way around that. You just wouldn’t be able to see through it.

You actually dont want to hold a continuous spray or be spraying all over in 100 directions. You sweep aode to side releasing the button each time you reach an edge then press it again and sweep the opposite way from top to bottom

i tried all ways. i still get a few streaks. the only way i could fix it up a bit was with a green scrub on a kitchen sponge that wasn't wet. i would buff out the areas with too much product. i wouldn't press hard.

Good video! I guess it would also work on Plexiglas that i want to frost for a LED shelf project. Also i had a chrome finish light fixture that i want to make it look like brushed nickel. So will see if this will do the job.

The can says, "household glass cleaner with soft cloth" is recommended, which would mean a product like Windex brand glass cleaner.
