I absolutely LOVED this supersized video! I would love to see segmented videos: highlights from the warmer climates; highlights from the winter destinations; some cozy rainy days in the rv, etc!!
Thanks to you all for your time and efforts to do this informative video. We live vicariously through your stories and tips. You are a wonderful family. Please keep doing videos when you have time. Be safe and be Blessed .
Greetings to all of you! And I wish you all a Happy New Year! We are not RV people, but we are travel people! I am really enjoy watching you all and the adventures you have! I love seeing the different parts of the country. My family and I live in Anchorage, AK and I'm wondering if you have ever done the Alcan Hwy and spent time in Alaska? If not, is that possibly in consideration for the future? We love showing people around or giving insights on this state we now call home.
We haven't done the Alcan yet, but it's definitely on our list! We are planning to come that way next summer. We would love any suggestions you have. You can message direct on IG.
Great Information on many avenues of life and travelling. I did hear you guys mention about a few aches/pains etc , I'm a 60 yr old who had all those aches and pains and some , last yr I was tired of feeling like crap most days so I decided to do change my eating habits ,found a few YT channels on carnivore and OMG moment ,I gave it a try for 1 week ,7 days on day 4 I noticed a difference in my body ,day 7 I couldn't believe how my body/mind was feeling , thru all junk food in the garbage ,eat only organics 90% meat (BBBE) Butter,Beacon,Beef, eggs ,very little veg but I feel amazing , now 2025 8 months later ,sitting 195lbs from 240, no aches or pains I just feel so much energy , give it a try ,there's nothing to loose but all to gain , the food with all the additives is messing up our bodies. I even found out in KJB about food and proper eating ,Cheers and blessings to all the family.
I love your story. I’m eating Keto currently and may add a 30 day Carnivore diet in the near future. I have heard so many amazing stories of success eating that way!! Hope you enjoy our channel!!!
This did not even seem long, wow! You all speak so eloquently. Super organized, informative, interesting and insightful. We really enjoyed getting some background info about you as a family as well as learning about the RV lifestyle. Bravo 👏🏻🌟
I love that you enjoy sharing your experiences with everyone to help encourage traveling even if only for a small vacation once a year. I think people think they can't do any kind of trip. When sometimes it can be a drive around the state you live in looking at Gods creation all around us. Make the memories, tomorrow isn't promised
Thank you! It is so true about not being promised tomorrow. That is why we decided to live this lifestyle now. And why we are always encouraging others to do the same.
Absolutely loving your channel, really just stumbled across it. I wonder if you added a little jingle with your name if people would click on your channel faster-something like Travel with the Shinpaughs ❤
Really enjoyed the video. It was amazing. Till the next time Have Fun Stay Safe and Keep Making Memories. Merry CHRISTmas and A Happy Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
I would think it is hard when you first start out fulltiming to not think of it as vacationing everyday. We don't fulltime, but part time but absolutely love doing it! We went cross country (FLA originating) across the southern US and got to experience magnolia beach in TX, New Orleans, Vegas, Glacier, Banf and Jasper (just before the fires). we spent 6 weeks on the road and love to do it again - but SLOWER. My kids (all married and grown up) remember all the 2 week or summer vacations we spent camping in a small trailer. They now have trailers of their own and want to do it with their kids. Memories for a lifetime! So good for you - love that you are spending quality time together as a family - that is the best gift you could give your kids! Merry Christmas to you all!
You put a lot of work into this one! Great job!!! Love to show you our small national park unit someday when you travel I80 in Iowa. Thanks for the videos!
@ Herbert Hoover National Historic Site. We have a Hooverdays first part of August but anytime would be great! I might be biased since I manage the place (LOL).
Have been looking forward to this video. I check almost every day to see if a new one has dropped ! So much great info. Love how you share your faith. Very evident God had you in the exact place you needed to be during your medical emergencies. He is good all the time. Would love your spreadsheet with all the Prevost service centers that the kids mentioned. Can’t wait to watch this again with my husband. So much great info as we prepare to buy and travel in a Prevost You mentioned shoes were a big issue and I love your shoe basket in the driver floor board for when you are stationary? But ,what do you do with coats and wet raincoats especially in Breckinridge?
We're so glad you liked the video and appreciate your kind words! What kind of Prevost are you looking at? Will you be at the Prevost show in February? We had a hanging system for all our gear. We hung our coats in the front of the salon along with a thermal curtain. We used shower curtain rods in the basement to hang our gloves ad helmets on. We also had a small heater in there to dry/warm our boots. It was a great system.
Thank you!!! Right now they are on the fence about college but they are going to make those choices as they get a little older. We are in no hurry for them to leave. We have a great life😊
Great insight here. The comment of trading money for time now was terrific. I can say, as a former stay at home dad, having m ore time with my boys than most homeschooling, I wish I had more time with them. Only get 'em once at that age. Then grand kids:) We've already warned our boys if they have kids they will be spoiled rotten by us.
Love your content. I’ve been following for about 6 mos and you are visiting all my life stops! I grew up in Moab, UT (Arches and Canyonlands Natl Parks), I’ve done some consulting work for Prevost, and now make my home in Ft. Myers, FL! Please visit the Six Mile Cypress Slough while you are here! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us I'm thinking about buying a DP and living on the road it will be a few years but you guys made it easier for me to make my decision so thanks guys!😇🥰💯❤🙏
@TheShinpaughs My grandmother was a Shinpaugh born in Blue Ridge TX.. Her daddy was born in Arkansas and his daddy around Knoxville area. The Shinpaugh family was some of the first settlers in Knox County. Original name is Schoenbacher. Was a Hessian soldier who deserted and joined the American side. He first lived in NC and moved to Knox Co.
As someone whose career is in the motorcoach industry (both seated and entertainer)…I’m curious to know how you guys navigate licensing, insurance, inspections. Being of “no fixed address” is an incredible lifestyle, but how do you choose where to have an address on file? Do you use a relative’s home? Do you have a PO Box in a state with cost effective insurance and inspection programs?
I am a new follower to your channel.I may have missed a video or not. What’s your budget like ? Is the RV paid off the cost of Rig maintenance tires. We have a tire pressure monitor in ours. I am sure you have one as well. Any Unexpected Rig issues?
There is so much to unpack in your questions. We do have a budget we try to stay within. We are big advocates of preventive maintenance vs fixing what breaks. Even though things will always break. Yes there is always unexpected rig issues!!!!
Hi, I found your channel about a month ago. The first one was when you were traveling from Breckenridge to Asheville, NC and you were stopping at Best Buys purchasing Star Links for use in Asheville area after Hurricane Helene. It peaked my interest for one reason being our daughter and her husband live near Asheville and our daughter works in Asheville. She and her husband assisted where she works with elderly and he helped supplies like water and she went out on their mini buses to check on the clients. Fortunately, where they live it didn't flood. I can see that your children are well rounded young people. One question I have is what will your family do when the children are ready for college. Will they leave you RVing and go to a college or will they do college courses on line? One the first video I watched I think you said you stopped a bit in Salina, Kansas. This is where I live. I also watch a couple who are full timers, Suite Travels. I think they spend most of the winter in Arizona. Thank you for sharing your RVing life with us!
@ very cool our second rally is in plant city so we can go to the show The powers to be stopped all rallying at show. Food vendors were crying about losing business because of RALLYS having there own food.

Great kids !!! I think Homeschooling is way safer these days for children anyways.
Thank you. We are big proponents of homeschooling.

When you think about it beds are mostly just for sleeping. So I don’t think the bunks are an issue and they are custom made longer.
Yes we spend very litle time in our bed/bunks. We spend most of our time outside when possible.
How do you get mail? And how do you establish a domicile for things like taxes?
We domicile in Florida and get mail at our PO Box.
we are going to 2 AIM rallies in jan in FL, (we are in zephyrhills now)

Is Jase, Willis? I'm just curious I'm used to Willis, so sorry if this sounds stupid.
Yes. Our son Jason goes by the nickname Willis. He is technically Jason Jr. Willis is the nickname that stuck all these years.
