I just noticed the moment before he puts her on the counter: his hand quickly glides over the counter to check if there's something on it and is it safe to put her down... watch and try to notice it AW AW AW AW AW😍😱
I'm not gonna take sides with the divorce thing. She had her reasons for going which I get & I understand him wanting the divorce. What I dont get is why the writers couldnt write in an honest to goodness apology from April (who admitted to this being her fault so she kneww) and why Jackson gave up on counseling after like 3 weeks (thats not trying & he just led her on). But one thing i can comment on? Holy shit the chemistry... Sarah & Jesse nail angst which is why I think Jackson & April are constantly dumped with drama.. But they are FIRE together and while im not thrilled abt the pregnancy SL, Im glad they still have a story together cause it would be a giant waste if they dint share scenes. Still rooting for Japril, though!! Hopefully, this baby can help them heal from all the pain caused by losing Samuel. #JaprilStrong
Wow you took words out of my mouth. Agree 100% on what you said. I think that the number one mistake here was that they didn’t communicate. After Samuel died we never got a scene where they talked about coping together. I really wish they would’ve gotten a scene where they both apologized for hurting each other unintentionally especially an apology from April. I understand why she went away but I also understand Jackson’s point of view. But again, if there would’ve been communication then maybe things would’ve gone differently. I just really wished we would’ve gotten that from Shonda.
She’s literally locking him up he wants a divorce and that’s his choice but he can’t because she won’t let it go he wants the relationship over and he shouldn’t have to stay with her just because she wants to and won’t sign the divorce papers
im trying to understand why hes so mad about her leaving, she at least told him she was going and even went as far as asking him to with her and he refused, she needed to find her own way of healing and it took her just going on a trip for a few weeks
Butter Cup_2019 because it caused him to be all alone while grieving. She found a purpose that helped her mind take off the pain. But he didn’t have anything and he didn’t have anyone to talk to about his pain. He has friends and his mother but it’s not the same
Lol!!! Thank goodness this couple is going to be okay- Happy, healthy, alive!!! Poor Slexie. At least they are watching down below from the beach/garden
i don't think people understand what losing a baby does to you. sure april shouldn't have walked out but she was literally dead inside in a way that no guy will ever experience.
Yes! It’s very annoying how people says like he was grieving so much or any more than her when even her body and hormones have changed with pregnancy (and about how bad it was for her to take an abortion).
That's not even true I know a lot of moms who doesn't care about their baby's or just leave them and the father takes care and if he would lose his child he would lose himself while the mom is out there fine and just doesn't even care so please stop generalizeing 'cuz just because you didn't give birth a baby doesn't mean you can't love it the same way.
People can say April is being selfish and I understand that, but I don't really think she was. Her and Jackson were both coping in their own way. He put her first because he thought it was the right thing, and she left because she thought it was the right thing also. No one is at fault here. As someone who's gone through grieving over a loss, everyone does it in their own way. They just did it separately instead of together.
Ignoring your own grief and expecting that person to understand your needs and not understanding theirs is not putting you first. If he was more communicative of what he needed then she wouldn't have gone. That's his fault. He call himself covering for her, he was covering for himself.
@@Ddrm12 By the time he finally told her, he was fine. She wasn't done in Jordan. She was forced to come back. Everyone was affected by the father stuck in the car with a new baby, but especially April. She needed to go back. It wasn't Christmas to Easter when he didn't know where she was or alive. It was Christmas to New Years. It took 6 days of hopping planes to get back, not months! You could see she was still in pain when she was given the ultimatum by Jackson. She cried in the chapel with Arizona and she wasn't crying about Jackson. He was smiling and watching people dance after his mom got married. There are 2 different emotions being shown, her pain, and Jackson's anger at her but also he's able to have a good time. April was never the same after Samuel. Jackson will always be completely wrong in this situation. If you can't stand by your wife when you know she's in pain, then he was never worth it! She thought he was fine and so did we, the audience. We were only shown he wasn't during a flashback episode. April wasn't herself without flashbacks. Jackson gave up his marriage to apparently the love of his life, the one, his person, and best friend like it had always meant nothing and then he goes on a date and treats April like shit from season 11-14. As soon as April moves out because he confused her with Montana, he's already trying to get Maggie. In season 15, we see him regretting his choices. April never regretted her choices, only in so much as it ruined her marriage, but in season 17, she 100% doesn't regret leaving so she could heal from that loss. Jackson himself says he resented her for it AT THE TIME, but it's what she needed to survive and she needed to do it. He understood. He no longer thought what she did was wrong.
@@eosan1981 she always had been there for him and all his pain and when she puts herself at first (because she was obviously suffering enough to not be there for anyone) it’s like she was the biggest selfish woman on earth.
Anyone ever wondered if a sincere apology from April would have solved this riff. Looked like Jackson felt cheated and was pissed with her leaving when he needed her? Your thoughts on this?
One year later to the comment, but I think it would have started a real healing process together. He felt cheated, as you said, and alone in the grief, and he felt his feeling for their loss were totally disregarded by her; which they were, to a degree. Her pain was messing with her so deeply that she could not notice how hurt to his bone he was as well. I think if she had said something in the line of: "I'm sorry I didn't see how much you were suffering, I'm sorry I didn't even asked how you were doing; it's not because I didn't care or didn't think you could suffer, but I was completely blinded and numbed by pain"... he would have accepted it and really tried again. Instead, she couldn't really admit her faults in this, because - underatably so I think - her pain was still all there and, on top of it, she was hitting her head again the wall again again to figure out a way not to lose him; so she was even more fragile. She couldn't face her pain-led negligence towards his feelings, and that was a smack for him - understanbly so as well. But they loved each other so much, he loved and cared for her so mucdeeply, that if she had given him an earnest apology, he would have allowed it, because it's obvious in the way he looks at her - even at their worst - that he didn't really want to end the marriage; but, at that point, the marriage added pain on top of other pain and he too could handle it anymore. I see where they are both coming from. There's not a complete right or wrong in this awful situation they went through. There was still an emotional immaturity on both parts here, and still a lot of unprocessed grief and trauma.
Most couples don’t survive the loss of a child. Idk know what that pain is like but this isn’t some unrealistic storyline the loss of child is….. i don’t even want to understand it.
She was selfish for this she should’ve confronted him about his feelings. There are different ways of coping the loss of a child but she should’ve been thoughtful of Jackson feelings instead of leaving him
No knew that there was nothing that he could do to help her heal. Healing happens from within oneself not from another person. Jackson’s lack of communication is the problem. When April was away in the war zone during one of the conversations she tells him that she wanted to discuss her need for more time there. She tells Jackson she would call at a certain time and all he says is that he would be sleeping. Really Jackson? A conversation that could have saved their marriage and all he says is that it was too late in the night and he would be sleeping. Sorry but I don’t get that. He tells her that their marriage was filled with ultimatums and that were all hers; when it fact they were all his. One of the problems in their marriage was that Jackson never believed in April the way she believed in him.
I swear April jumping on Jackson is their signature move.
