I have had the great joy to see these ladies perform live 4 times . Each time they blow me away with their talent . The current group is good but will never match the level of beauty and talent that these ladies possess .
Another of the songs I can't resist playing whenever I visit TH-cam. IMO, the most powerfully antidepressant song in the Celtic Woman catalog. BTW, Wikipedia lists dozens of bagpipes, with one or two chanters, zero to three drones, single or double reeds, bellows or mouth-blown. The instrument seems to have originated in ancient Persia and spread to most of the world.
In less than 36 hours (thanks to my sister's incredible gift to me), I'm finally going to MEET THEM at my first meet-and-greet right before their performance (and I have absolutely no idea what I will say to them). I have waited four years to get this chance and still can't believe I actually get to do this!
Ever since I first heard Celtic Woman sing, I have struggled to put to words what their voices do to me!!! These ladies just have angelic voices to say the least!
what their voices do at 2:51 is breathtaking, the blending and the intricate and overlapping harmonies set the listener on the edge of their seat. These ladies are having a tremendous time doing what very few can do, and less can do as well.
This song was introduced during the Songs From the Heart tour. On the Believe cd, this song and Walking the Night form a medley titled Songs from the Heart.
Schafer Olsen Sure just type in on TH-cam Celtic Woman Walking The Night Alex and Lynn where you will see they first started doing it in 2010. They changed the name of Your Songs are in my Heart to The World Falls Away for the Believe Special.. Here's the link with both songs together! th-cam.com/video/PJfWFJsUGkw/w-d-xo.html
if anything they are more relaxed than they were in previous concerts... the fact that they have choreographed every song and remembered it precisely is amazingly difficult...can you take a second and imagine if weddings weren't choreographed or movies were choreographed... we probably wouldn't have the entertainment system we'd have today... if anything their choreography gets better and better with each passing televised special...
I finally noticed the real error in the caption. This song isn't in "Songs From the Heart", at least not in the DVD. This is obviously the "Believe" concert. I have both DVDs.
Your point? Concerts are generally choreographed to the endth degree. Itlessens the risk of anything going wrong. Not to put down improvisation, but having things planned out isn't necessarily a bad thing. Certainly makes things easier on those that are working behind the scenes
These 3 together should be considered a crime against the Fatherland. Do they sing? No. The others sing, they are on another level far above. Perfection does not exist! Well, no, because if it existed it would be here 🕊️🇵🇹
In about 200 minutes I'm going to join those Lucky Barstids who have seen them live! Now, if I can just scrape up the price of a meet-and-greet pass next year...
That's the line I will quote if I ever meet one of these ladies (or David). I figure that If I stop at that, I can avoid babbling like some infatuated fanboy.
Is being choreographed a bad thing? I remember them being pretty choreographed before too, much more than this in A New Journey. Remember, every little motion in Mo Ghile Mear? The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun?
My favorite moment is when Lisa L. dances down the steps to join the other two. So adorable.
Amazing!!!

Holy crap that Chloe has some pipes! I've never heard a voice like that!
Celtic Woman is always in my heart.
Celtic Woman is in me heart! Their songs always take me home to where my life did start. I sail on a sea of pipes as tears shine in me eyes.

Are you sure it was introduced then? I can't find it anyway...

Voices and music from Angels

I hope you enjoyed your meeting with Celtic Woman.
I LOVE THESE LADIES!!!!!
One of my favourite song 😍but why I didn't found the karaoke 🎤❣️

sitting here in usa thankyou no Pain
Gyönyörű szép
1:06 it's so beautiful :D
The bagpipes include Scottish pipes, uilleann pipes, and a couple of rarer variants.

The caption is wrong. That's a uillean pipe, not a bagpipe.

I'm guessing they combined the two songs to get a longer piece (Walking the Night being, what, under three minutes?).
@Italimatteo True... still...it drives me nuts when people get bagpipes and uillean pipes mixed up. I'm a bit OCD about it :P
Where’s the other Lisa?
@lunescent2007 I know... but what can ya do? It's how the DVD came.

I still love Chloe so much but don't have any money to bring her to me by her management
lol "sprightly" bagpipe music? Those aren't bagpipes.
These women get more and more choreographed each tour.
Are they bags? Yes. Are they pipes? Yes. They're bagpipes, we needn't get too technical, just because they're a little different.
Is being choreographed a bad thing? I remember them being pretty choreographed before too, much more than this in A New Journey. Remember, every little motion in Mo Ghile Mear? The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun?
They're Irish bagpipes, rather than the more familiar Great Scottish Highland bagpipes.
