Lately, I've been more in the mood for Cozy Fantasy...but I do believe I've collected about half the known titles that are out there from Legends & Lattes, House in the Cerulean Sea, Somewhere Beyond the Sea, Bookshops & Bonedust, Not So Secret Society of Irregular Witches, In the Lives of Puppets and Under the Whispering Door. Are there any other Cozy titles worth looking into?
im shocked so many people love spark of the everflame, i had such a hard time finding a single thing to like about diem i couldnt being myself to read the next book
Metal Slinger is amazing. I went into it not even reading the synopsis and absolutely loved the storyline with all the twists and turns. Highly recommend! It has a cliffhanger at the end but is so worth it. PS. Audiobook in March 2025
I definitely recommend to read the Lady of Darkness series before reading Rain of shadow and endings. It's one of my favorite series on the same level as TOG and ACOTAR. I can't really say which book of the series I liked the most because I binged the whole series so it didn't feel like I was reading separate books. I just can say it gets so much better after the first book and the plot twists are just so good!
I enjoyed the first book quite a bit but scarlet became extremely frustrating to read in book 2 (mostly in the last half) Sort of on pause after finishing it, does she grow out of that in the later books or is that just who she is from then on?
You all have to read 'The Queen's Red Guard' series by Isabelle Olmo... The first one is good, but it gets sooo good in book 2 (might be my fav fantasy romance reads of the year, the banter and spice and plot are !!!!!!), and book 3 is out now as well so.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND! There is also a short novella.
I loved the second book in The Mortal Fates series. It`s 180 from the first book and roles of our MC are reverse. Loved it. Can`t wait for the last one in the series.
I agree. I would 100% recommend The Crown of Oaths and Courses, but not the second book. I was not fond of it at all, but I’m still interested to see how she’s going to end the series,
I love The Crown of Oats and Curses, the second book felt to me more like it could have been merged with the first. I do really like the overall story and am excited to see what j Bree will do with the third book.
Legends of thezmarr series was my top read of this year. Are you going into book 3 actually or are you reading the novella slaying the shadow prince first. Because I highly HIGHLY reccomend it after book 2. Literally clicks everything in place and your even more excited to move on to book 3!!
We are reading Slaying the Shadow Prince in December! A few of my patreons - who have previously read the series - strongly advised I add it to the readalong!
Rain of Shadows and Endings is my favorite of the year. I read it before I read Lady of Darkness as well. Then I reread it after Lady of Darkness and it is even better. I highly recommend going back to read everything before the 4th Legacy series comes out.
Added The Prince of Prohibition to my books I really want list. It sounds amazing and right up my alley! I need this book in my life lol. Also added The Scattered Bones to my other wish list. It also sounds really good. I just saw April talk about it in her most recent video and when you talked about it I was like, add to list lol.
That is also my favorite series! I did read Lady of darkness series after reading the second book. Then reread the series again. It’s the best series I read this far better.
I loved the crown of oaths and curses and I liked the second book much like Fourth Wing. Loved first book and liked second book. Both first books were 5 stars and second books were 4 stars.
Can you do a list of damsel in distress recs? I’m looking for books with a damsel in distress trope. Idk why but I eat that trope UP (despite my rather feminist ideology in my daily life 😂)
Rain of Shadows and Endings is my favorite book of all time. Book 1 of The Crown of Oaths and Curses was 5 stars. Book 2 was so disappointing. It didn’t seem like the same author wrote the two books.

I agree with this. I loved the second one. not as much as the first. there are some plot choices made that I think readers either love or hate though
@@happily_ever_april exactly. I knew I liked you. 😉
Loved Phantasma and Heartless Hunter ❤️❤️❤️
I love The Legacy Series….its an emotional roller coaster. Can wait for the last book.

Ahhhh, I’m so curious to read it now!!!

Hahaha NOOOO do you think I’d like it?

I DNF’d when the Moon Hatched twice. What chapter did you feel the writing got better? Or did you just get used to it?
I LOVED metal slinger until the ending- beware it ruined me 😩
Ruined you in a good way or bad way?! 👀
It’s a cliffhanger BUT with such a major twist that it’s totally worth it. Loved this book.
What book box is the ever king edition you have

YASSS!!! Rain of Shadows and Endings is phenomenal!!! 🖤
I Dnf'd Rain of Shadows and Endings. I really wanted to love it but I found Tessa to be too irritating.
