Appreciate your time in the game, lots of knowledge and experience but when you make a demo swing using the linear 'hands to the ball' technique... an off-plane, descending swing that drives the ball into the ground or pops it up... you lost me... and you'll loose many youth players that are realizing the faults inherent in that type of swing. No one in the MLB hits that way and kids and some coaches are figuring this out. When you lifted the elbow, got u'r hands above the ball and got on-plane you looked like the modern pro swing.
Bryce Harper's avg. has dropped 100 pts since he changed his swing to a linear hands to the ball swing. He's hitting more ground outs and fly balls. The bat must be on the pitch plane, ascending to meet a descending pitch.
You seem like a really nice guy so don't get offended or upset but you are going to get lots of push back with that linear swing.
