I did the right thing by handing in a £2000 laptop I found in a car park.. From a local councillor!!!!!! But being grateful isn't always received ! The gentleman came to the police office ' and proceeded to prove it was his businesses brand new laptop !!!!!! He just lifted Ir and went to leave ,! Till the officer informed him he should be paying 10% of the value which meant he was forced to write a £50 check for my honesty !!! But when I took it to the bank I t wasn't valid he'd stopped it from being cashed so not everyone will pay it forward unfortunately 💔🙏🏻💞☯️

Even in these times of strife, hardships, poverty, racism and hate. It warms my heart that there are still good caring people out there knowing and doing the right thing by helping the less fortunate. Times being the way they are it seems human compassion for each other finally seen to be coming out more and more within the last couple months. I Remember seeing it and it made me so proud of my people and my country after 9-11 and now within the last couple months I have seen it again more and more. I Always believed in paying it forward and to try to help when I can even in stupid way. I remember a time when a old couple (had to be in there 90's) were stuck on a highway. it was cold that night and it had to be around 11PM, both were disabled and they had a flat tired. As I was changing their tire they kept thanking me for stopping and they mentioned they had been there for 8 hours before I stopped. It made me feel good stopping and helping and when they wanted to pay me for helping I told them to put the money away, buy themselves some breakfast and them next time they see someone in need just stop and help them and tell them to do the same for next car they help. I have to give kudos to Elmer for his honesty (many may not get this kind of reward or even a thank you) but knowing your reward is that u did the right thing, helped someone out, made yourself feel good doing it and knowing you made a difference in this world is its own reward. I always want to credit the lady she went far beyond what she needed to do, and it makes me proud to see more people like this. Remember world. Its not the changes the world makes around us whether its good or bad but the changes WE make to the world

I try my best to be honest and true and stand up for the right things as much as I possibly can. the past 4 to 5 years in my life have been like daggers and flaming friggin arrows to that way of thinking or living. Stories like this make me keep standing.
I wish I was that lucky like Elmer Alvarez he look very honest young man he did the right thing to return the the check cause stealing is a crime n sin in the eyes of God n for the lady of the check she has big heart to reward in such good way. I living in my van for 3 months is been a big dramatic experience since I relocated to Los Angeles California in 2 yrs n and 9 months I wish him the best in life.
This man has a beautiful soul may he be safe forever. Thank you for helping this homeless man!
