UNDU MUUKAMBA WATHEMBAA

The Kamba and Many African Ethnic Groups had their ways of worship and many of these took place in shrines.For the Kamba they worshipped Ngai Mumbi, Ngai Mulungu na Ngai Mwatuangi. They would sacrifice to ward off disasters, seek protection and as thanksgiving for bumper harvests.The sacrifices in the shrines was done by chosen few who had reached a certain age and had undergone certain rituals to make them fit for the job.
