No no no! Do not drill the hole on the other side!! The pin will come out! Get a dremel scores the pin lightly, and use a small vise grip (not needle nose type) pull it straight outward. Once the long pin came out you will be able to sneak the plate out. You can replace it with a new pin, new pin can be found on ebay.com. 2.5mm OD pin. I hope it helps!
many years have passed since your comment but I try the same to ask you a question, sorry for my English but I'm Italian and I'm using an online translator. be able to make a video to make me better understand how to extract that pin? or post me photos? I have to remove that plate at all costs ...
Couldn't you buff that slot in situ, if held to the right, you could polish it as far back as the pins as the right side of the slots is what would be under pressure when cocking, Only thing is you would need to clean it real good. Top vid btw 👍
Excellent video - nice camera work. Guessing you must be an engineer of some sort - exacting in your details - I have 3 son-in-law engineers. Anyway, wondering if you've found a way to remove the sliding plate that's causing all the "rough grinding" noise when cocking....? My Cricket BP has it & I'd sure like to get that plate out to smooth it up somewhat. Thanks in advance & ATB, MobyMyste in KS
The part you show as not being removable is broken on my Cricket. As far as I know Kalibr does not have a warranty. Any suggestions? I would show a photo but am not able to here.
Hi. I am Vietnamese, I love what you are describing. But in my country they banned to buy that. I would ask if you have size drawings about it. Thank you.

Do not try to heat the aluminum breech! Which it won't work with your normal torch anyways!
Whats that tool which you use to pull out the axel? And where I can found that? Is it elecromagnetical?
It is just a little flashlight with a magnet on the end. Any magnet should work unless yours was installed dirty or tighter than mine.
