- The deschutes river salmon fly hatch is a world famous occurance. People come from all over the northwest to cast for the legendary redside trout with huge salmon fly imitations. Just north of Bend Oregon sits the lower Deschutes and the kromm team decided to take a day off and enjoy the Fly fishing this beautiful river.

I lived in Madras in 1966-'72 and spent many hours bank fishing the Deschutes River, Then I moved to Texas and here you can fish 24-7-365 and catch many spieces of fish.
i love seeing this I moved from Melbourne Florida to Redmond a couple of months ago and have been watching your vids for a few months now. ive fished my entire life so finding out you fish as well is cool
