@@leni006 can't please everyone...
Can you please do a video on saving up for collage while building weather? Please, I'm about to start collage but I don't now how to save or money tips to help me grow my money while saving. I just don't want to save and by the end of the day after graduation I'm left with money, then back to square one so pls help. As a collage student can I invest if so how? Pls help us out here 😭
I know you're focused on your Bootcamp but I would greatly appreciate your assistance with your budget tracker
*How can you say that as you are less than 35?*
12. Be a stoic. You can't control everything and be able to pivot.
That’s for when you’re in your 40’s and wiser…
Life tends to unfold as it should
@@vinay4886My aunt used to say that if you aren’t established in some kind of career or business by the time you’re forty, you’ll never be established. That does involve being robust enough in your younger years to persevere and to be able to get over disappointments and unexpected events. Stoicism is a wonderful philosophy and starts in the school playground.
Agree, there are going to be lots of failures on most roads to success, “fall 7 rise 8”
13. Understand what Stoicism really is (not aimed at OP but at the people that are likely to misunderstand what Stoicism is and say "but emotions are important!")
1. Buy at full price (to support your entrepreneur friends)
2. Marry the financially stable
3. Work from a desk (not your bed)
4. Think before accepting the 1st offer
5. Understand the root cause of jealousy (put your energy into making that happen for yourself)
6. Say less than necessary (be a silent achiever, not a public promiser)
7. Eat healthy
8. Read everyday (books are the most condensed form of knowledge in the world; if a mentor is out of reach, read all their content)
9. Focus on practicality (don’t get tied up with finding your passion; learn practical skills)
10. Spend time in solitude (away from your phone)
11. Choose yourself (don’t let the opinions of others stop you from living your life)
Bonus: to influence rather than be influenced; spend more time producing rather than consuming
I used to designate every Sunday a no phone day. I'd check for anything urgent in the morning then leave it in a drawer for the rest of the day. Really need to get back to doing that.
That's a great habit. Why did you stop?
I was incredibly refreshing to not have an introduction or content bloat. Thank you for having this be succinct and informative from, literally, the first second of the video. Your title that made us click was the intro. I wish more creators used this format.
I really appreciate that too.
As a licensed mental health counselor, the partner points are crucial. Money is one of the core factors that would be in your best interest to address early. On that note it's best to tackle your poor money habits and debt before marriage as much as possible .. you're on the right channel for that. You're setting yourself up for success that will trickle down to all facets of your life
My son is 21 and not dating yet. (Wants to finish college, etc, get on the right track.) But I’ve told him money does matter and to pay attention to a future partner’s financial beliefs or habits and to make sure they can talk about money. You want to be on similar pages with similar goals. If they can’t, that’s a huge red flag. I married so young that none of this had been pointed out to me or brought up and eventually I figured out I should probably step up and manage my household’s money bc my husband was going to largely avoid it due to stress. 22 years later and we are doing wonderfully but it required incredible responsibility and we also got a big dose of good fortune to help course correct earlier financial missteps. I hope my son will have an easier time and consider financial stability when thinking about his future and his future partner.
Yes, please PLEASE don't ever marry a financial child as no matter how successful you are, you'll be.... It's just hell folks!
Two takeaways for me is to marry financially stable and eat healthy. I'm already established on the second and looking for the number one.
Hello there 💍
If only I was not straight haha
@@juleswifey6003 You have that surname for a reason ;)
@@nischa 😅
Weed out all gold diggers and Jezebel.....
"Buy at full price" is a noble thought.
Great points, but I completely disagree with point 2. My wife married me when I wasn’t financially stable, but I was highly ambitious and had a detailed plan of what I wanted to achieve. She supported me financially to achieve my goals and get the business up and running. 5 years later, (post pandemic) we have a multi-site business with strong cash flow and an even stronger valuation which we hope to grow further before exit. She also wasn’t anywhere near as financially stable as she now is in her career. My wife and I have a great marriage, with a baby boy and we are earning very well now. Couldn’t be happier, and that is because she married ambitious, not rich and we supported each other. Marrying / dating financially stable may be important, but it shouldn’t outweigh other factors such as compatibility, attraction, love and emotion. Build together…
I agree. My husband and I were the opposite. I was at a low paying job and unlike you I had NO IDEA what I wanted to become. But he was at a great position and knew a lot of well placed people and saw in me things I hadnt even considered. We had a child and after our daughter was born I stated I wanted to work so we could build more. He introduced me to someone who immediately offered me a job that changed my life. From there I grew at that company, left it and got another job at another company (on my own with the own reputation I had built myself) and now not only am I doing better than ever, I make more than him 😂. Together we are building. Like you I believe we are partners who grow each other and with each other. You don’t have to marry rich, you should marry compatible and with a growth mindset similar to your own.
Taking relationship/marriage advice from an unmarried woman who clearly prioritised career over family/husband is not smart.
What I understood from her point is that you should avoid people who can't talk about money, or don't want to. or don't be that person. of course together with somebody who you love and having the mindset of moving forward and getting better will always be the best choice as long as money conversations are a normal thing, and not taboo.
there's a difference between someone who has no money but motivation/ambition/a plan vs someone with very poor spending habits, inability to budget, etc.
I think it’s all about the mindset, my husband and I weren’t financially stable either, but we were financially responsible. And I think that’s the thing to look for.
The marriage is by far the biggest one.
No. 11 was deep for me. "We are the sum of our different choices and only you have to deal with your own life consequences". I wrote it down, put the wisdom on a single slide, made a desktop wallpaper out of it. Awesome.
love this!
"only you have to deal with your own life consequences" - anyone who truly believes this for themselves is privileged in this life. Plenty of people have to live - sometimes their whole lives - with the consequences of their parent's decisions, or their partner's, or their government's etc.
I don’t know how much effort you put in to make your hair look like that but it’s absolutely beautiful.
Smh
Such a wisdom at young age. Very refreshing to see high work ethic, habits, and simplicity.
I'm so thankful that you start your content diving right in! Thank you, THANK YOU!
Love this video. Having a financially stable partner is so important. Growing up and seeing my parents not be aligned on financial goals/ habits really derailed our financially stability as a family.
I truly like your tips. As I have shared in past comments, I am in my early 70’s. Your tips shall help me as I move forward on my new retirement path. Thank you and keep it going.
I have been trying to leave my phone at home during my walks with my dog recently. I call these my “dream walks”
I take my phone , I may need it in an emergency but it is always on silent and only if I want to I check it.
Well done, Nischa. I'm 64 and am quite successful. I can assure you I practice all of these principles. Keep it basic and seek what's eternal and not temporal. Serve others before your own selfish needs has always done me well to ground me into humility. I'm a new and a big fan...look forward to all futures videos.
May I know what's your career & how & why you choose it? I'm 23 & trying to figure out what to do with my life, what career to choose, I've been feeling very lost & hopeless. If u can give me a bit of advice that would be very helpful.
Don't see many 64 years olds who can say that. Reading your comment makes me happy for you John, stay blessed.
Thank you for mentioning the following: saying less than necessary, the bit about mentors, and focusing on practicality. It seems like in the U.S. our work environments really promote saying more than necessary, you can only succeed if you have a mentor, and far too much focus on passion rather than practical. This leads to a very warped set of expectations for so many. And, the focus on passion rather than practical really only seems to help universities that offer absolutelty unpractical majors that result is astronomical debt for so many people.
No 6. This was rather important for me. I’ve been a public promiser all my life and I find that the more I inform people about my goals, they never quite manifest. Thank you for teaching me to be a silent achiever. You’re God sent Nischa. 🙏🏾
I’ve been watching your content since couple of weeks and it’s no doubt a 10/10 in terms of value that I get from it. I hope to keep seeing more of these! Thanks.
Always love your videos every week, very inspirational, and keeps me motivated to pursue my personal growth and personal finances. Please keep it up, you're doing wonderful things! Thank you!
Loved the format, straight to it, no clickbait, awesome work. Congrats, great video.
Great points! I definitely think choosing yourself and trying not to let what other people think affect what you do with your life is so important. You only get one shot✨. Xx
I would say that the most important ( and healthy) habit to have in life is to read. Reading is an incredibly important thing and books open new doorways into our imaginations.
I just sent this to everyone in my family. Thank you for the words of wisdom! Your channel is the best. ❤️
Really great video Nischa. 2, 5 and 10 especially spoke to me. Love how you combine reliable research with personal experiences/stories
Love this video so much… it’s all so relatable and exactly why I’ve been such a fan of your TH-cam channel. Keep doing you!
Really great advices! On the "work from a desk" rule I would add one more: use an external monitor for your desk :) It's really an essential item even for short or medium sessions at the desk. The 4k or 5K screens are amazing, a bit pricy but they pay off quickly in added comfort and productivity.
The point about mentors is so true! So many of us looking for someone to guide us, wanting to take something from someone else for our personal gain, instead of putting in the work and finding what we need from the wealth of information already out there!
Thank you. I love your channel because you bring the information straightforward in a timely manner. This video is inspiring. I love the part about spending time by yourself
Amazing content as always, thank you Nischa!!
Such great and insightful videos Nischa ❤, thank you. Delivering the simple truths in a very understandable way 😃. I resonate with all points.
You are very inspirational. I love your how your videos are clear to the point impactful and make me reevaluate my choices in life. Thank you for creating this channel🙏
Great material!! 2:43 #5 you mean envy/envious not jealousy/jealous. Envy is when you covet something someone else has. Jealous is when someone is trying to take something that is already yours. Again, thanks for the amazing tips!
This is just amazing advice. Thanks for being there and for educating people!
Thank you nischa, I enjoy your straight forward and minimalistic vibe a lot! Especially you accent 😁
Nisha its my 39th birthday tomorrow.
Can I do this in 1 day? 🤔
There are way too many TH-cam channels offering you advice that in the most cases is low (or questionable) quality. I'm glad I stumbled upon your videos a while ago, and I truly believe that your pieces of advice are highly valuable and practical. In addition to this, I appreciate your "clean" language and straightforward approach to deliver information. All of that multiplied by your charisma and stunning yet professional appearance is undoubtedly a rare gem. Thank you and good luck with any of your current and future endeavours, Nischa!
I love your videos. Thank you for your simple brilliance!
Really awesome list! I felt your points were so thoroughly expressed without unnecessary rambling like I've seen from other channels.
"Spend more time producing than consuming." BOOM. Last point in the video is the most impactful and, in my opinion, the most important. Thank you.
One could also add, spend more time producing than criticizing what is produced by others - if you don't like it, make a better one 😊
After watching several of your videos I am staying as a subscriber on your channel. So much interesting and useful knowledge you are sharing! Learning English is a bonus for me plus I love your accent!
Always love your content. I agree with you, health is important because when you sick you are both physically and mentally down. Health is key and reading is next on my line because knowledge is wealth. Thanks for this video Nischa.
One of the best videos of the channel, thanks!
Brilliant vlog. Great balance of personal development and you’ve really nailed your tone & word emphasis. The timing of the bonus tip couldn’t be more perfect, as my camera is arriving this week so time to start with my content😊
Another great video Nischa, thank you so much for putting all of your knowledge out there every week for others to learn from it! I'm looking forward to it every Sunday!
I agree that talking about finances in a partnership and setting up a financial plan together and working towards it is very important. Unfortunately far too many people/couples shy away from that which can lead to a lot of problems later on.
Again thanks for all of the great tips ❤
Love the last bonus point. Have confidence in yourself, influence, don't be influenced. Too many influencers trying to show us how to live.
Stellar intro. Right to the point. Well done, Nischa. Solid work.
Hey Nischa, another awesome video as usual! I was hoping if you could perhaps make a video describing how best to avoid spending hours on social media everyday and share some thoughts on how and why its important to avoid posting on social media often. It'd be greatly appreciated!
On #3, I have my desk by my bed facing away from it. I simply work as much as I can & lie down or nap when I need to almost regardless of the time. It really works well for me. More than once I have lied down to rest & immediately had an idea because of it. Instead of a notepad by the bed I just have my full workstation ready to go at any time something comes to me.
You are so insightful... :) Thank you!
Man, I love this channel!
The phone hours part is so alarming!! wow
Great advices and reminders. Thanks
You constantly put out valuable content. I think this is one of my favorite videos because I could hear the excuses pop up in my head, like "my employer expects me to always be accessible by phone", but then the next question follows, "why am I choosing to work under those expectations?" or "is that really my employer's expectation or is it just conditioning?" And once I peel back the layers of excuses, I'm left with the reality that at the end of the day, no matter the answer, I still have a choice. Knowing I have a choice meets my very high need for freedom and actually helps me take action. If not for your content, I might not be having this dialogue with myself, so thank you.
Thanks for the tips, looking forward to more videos!
This is sage advice, you are doing really good stuff here 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I most align with seeing jealousy from a positive perspective. I love to see everyone thrive, and when I see someone doing better than me I take notes and seek to learn from them.
Same, also, I always remember that everyone has their own problems, even someone whose life looks amazing on instagram may in fact be suffering from depression or a victim of domestic abuse (two actual examples from my own life of people I know who have or had large instagram followings) peace to all
I'm one of this indecisive dreamers who cannot decide on a passion. Recently, I've been coming to terms with the idea that just liking my job is enough. I'm not passionate about my job, but I'm extremely motivated to do it well and to learn new things every day. I'm sometimes jealous of people who have turned their passion into a successful career, but I also know that it's never too late to pursue a dream. Meantime, I'll enjoy my current job and build up my finances. Your channel is really helping me do the latter!
No.2 key! I didn’t do this first time around. I would even say if you’re a saver, marry someone who is financially likeminded. Talking about money in marriage is critical.
Such a great video! Thank you for sharing
Great advice! Thank you 😊
I must say you have a great content. Keep doing the great work. Bless you.
In case you haven’t been told today, you are terrific! Inspiring content and delivery. Thank you.
Now a days social media is the biggest distraction in this era, We require a change to be productive and your videos are more useful, Thank you Nischa!😊
Great video. Like new background and editing / graphic additions. Been following for awhile but first video I’ve made a point of liking. Appreciate your work and what you share.🎉
Great simple life advice that so many people overlook!
Hello Nischa, I loved your show this morning , it was excellent and I feel when you talk and share your insights and experience's you can be such a great roll model and inspirational person, I share your podcasts with many of my family and friends especially my daughter and son as well as my very good friend and partner in life as she is an amazing woman who I feel would also enjoy and benefit from your shows. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge as always, Clint Alexander.
Say less than necessary, love it.. I’m 81 years now and will retire in 2030 .
A remarkable truth you have shown that works will talk, rather than anything else .
Thanks , take care !
🙏🏾 Great video! Keep going
A good point about the solitude and how we need to disconnect once in a while.
To influence rather than be influenced… it will help us archive our target 15 years from now .
My grandson is 16 years now, he is studying to become an employer !
The Banking systems zero value of my 2,000 acres of tropical forest is a blessing in disguise.
He will be part of this great journey of building wealth with kindness.
Thanks for sharing Nischa !
You are heading with the speed of storm with your expertise,
Keep sharing your knowledge
I LOVE #8 (I do need to do more of the reading part although I have been doing more of that this year already) because it seems like the 'great minds' are like elusive and the ones that ain't you have to really work to distance yourself from. This is definitely a difference maker that I can just go do. Anything I have to wait for probably won't happen.
Good point about "choose yourself". Also don't let less successful people than yourself actually counsel and vice versa.
hi Nischa, good tip on talking about money and what you are planning, with your partner...
This was so good!!!
Choose yourself. I needed to hear this. Thank you.
The first one, thank you! I can relate to it. I´m a game developer and writer and getting a review is almost the hardest thing of the project release.
Great video. Very valuable ..thank you
Late to the party but made it nonetheless. Thanks for yet another good one Nischa. My fav Sunday evening go to🎉
You are so right and thankyou for sharing! The reason me and my ex partner separated. Although we discussed all financials, he still kept making the wrong decisions for our family. When I asked him why he did that, he referred to new promises. If someone is not committed, better just quit directly.
love this one!✨
Clever girl! I like your down to earth and honest approach.
Powerful message as always Thank you 🙏
Appreciate your videos your advice is amazing changed my life thank you so much
I am watching this video nodding whole time - yes, yes, you are right, I agree )))
Very simple , basic and yet normally not practiced. Like the way put it forward. keep them coming..
Get enough sleep. Go to bed, and get up, at the same time every day. As for marriage, I wouldn't enter a legal agreement with someone if the terms were unfairly against me. In fact, don't waste time looking for relationships or trying to date someone who is already dating multiple people. Your time and energy is important so use it wisely.
Nischa you are brilliant! Keep it up!
You are great. Thank you
I loved these tips! My favorite was posting about the thing instead of doing it, that is so interesting!
SHEEEEESHHHH the fact that you started INSTANTLY, like damn, nice, okay, you got my like just as fast
Fantastic video!
VERY TRUE I TOTTALY AGREE EXCELLENT VIDEO THANKS A MILLION
GOD BLESS YOU
Talk about money with your partner.
Very important ✅
Great tips here Nischa
Wow i really liked point 5 about jealousy. Ive never considered it like that.
Consistently Great Content 🙂
I’m 39 so I’m too late, sorry lads. Couldn’t make it
The first step to defeat is to put yourself down... We are in the very modern world where you can create wealth in one or 2 years (All depends of yourself education towards gain wealth) 39s and 40s are actually the best ages to startup SUSTAINABLE Business than when you are in your 20s (You not longer attached to material things as you would when you were 20) THE NUMBER 1 MISTAKE I SEE IN PEOPLE IS TRYING TO MEASURE THEIR LIFE WITH OTHERS... YOU ARE WRITING YOUR OWN STORY
In Islam 40 is when you fully realize yourself. We believe prophets were only given prophethood after reaching 40. You’re giving up too early.
