Great video!!! I bought the same pump and an almost exact faucet for my Apache Ramada. I was looking at switch options...then I found this video and realized I didn't need one! Good stuff brother, huge thanks!!!

Heck yeah man, enjoy the water pump! A switch is still a good idea. When your water tank runs low the pump kicks on and you either have to pull a wire or let the pump run dry while you fill the tank. I installed a simple on off switch which definitely helps when I'm not using the camper . Happy campin!

Ha, I'm watching this exactly 2 years after the upload. 6/15/23. Thanks for the info. I need to hook up a temporary plumbing situation in my 4x4 shuttle bus for it's inaugural two week road trip to Oregon. I will check out your other videos for sure!

Just add a dc dc convertor to drop the pump down from 12v to 9v. The flow will reduce slightly but the noise will go down a lot 👍

I've never set up one of these, but if you were to mount it using rubber feet that might reduce the sound.
Can you insulate the wrap-around (wood outer walls) to reduce noise, or would that make the pump too hot?
    Teach me, Koosh! 🙂

Both great ideas John! It came with rubber feet which helps out quite a bit I think. Can only imagine what it would would sound like with plastic feet. I thought about throwing reflectix insulation on the inner cupboard walls and still may but now that the cupboard has walls, it's really not that bad. I'll show ya when I do the walk around video of the finished camper 🙂👍

Great video! Are you happy with how it's been working since the install? Considering buying the same pump and faucet for my van.

Hey thanks for that Joe! I've been pretty happy with the pump and faucet since the install. So far no leaks, they both still work as strong as the day I put them in; they've even survived winter :D The only thing I've done since then is install a cutoff switch so the pump won't turn on when I remove the water jug to refill it. Other than that 10/10 would recommend!

Not enough power. The 100psi (with adjustable pressure switch) model is a much better option

It's provided enough power and reliability for the past couple years.
