@@oldguysriptooi'm often stomping thru deep new snow to get up to a spot to snowboard. "far more efficient" even in new deep snow? cant wait to try them!
@@josepinchero I’ve taken them in pretty deep snow. There’s enough surface area to keep you from sinking. Let me know what you think after trying them.
@@oldguysriptoook! one more ? what about flat traverses? most of us who need an approach ski/snowshoe need to do some amount of flat traverse. for me, i have a hill or two that is close by, one that is a mile away, and one that is 3 miles away. can you use these things for a 3 mile flat traverse? (or is that silly...and you'd need to carry these on your back w/ snowboard and use nordic skis to traverse 3 miles of flat). thanks!
@@josepinchero I have definitely covered some ground on mine. Skis will be far more efficient for the 3 miler, but that's a lot of stuff to haul. That being said, you totally can do 3 miles, just going to take longer not being able to glide as well.
A little late here but thanks for the review and glad you like them!
Almost time to get em out!
Can't wait. @@oldguysriptoo
i might have missed it...but why these over using less expensive & lighter traditional snowshoes?
Far more efficient than snowshoes and you'd be surprised how light they are.
