You should make a small ir range extender. When it is on it takes in a signal from an ir receiver then sends that signal out it's really long range ir blaster. This would be awesome for messing with the tv when you are really far away.

If would be gr8 if you showed us how to make a cable retract. Something that pulls the cable by itself while not putting too much tension on the cable. That will probably pimp your channel.

if youre a smoker and your mate is something like a "social smoker" smoker and thus mooch off of you when you are out and about, get a cigarette, use a match stick and push into the tobacco to make a little "hole". Get a party popper, take it apart and carefully cut the string off. Place the popper inside the cigarette and gently poke the tobacco over the hole using the match stick. Then when the bastards ask for a cigarette, give that one to them, let them light it up and watch it explode in their face (may cause minor burns which isnt an issue if you friend isnt a little girl)
Probably don't want to use a translucent pen for that first one.
