I'm mesmerized by WOODZ vocals. He's debuting in UNIQ as main rapper but in X1 he's main vocalist. Woodz is an amazing ALL ROUNDER artist.
They only practiced together for 2 times but they did great.

I was so excited to see Hyunjin taking part in a TVXQ cover stage because way back in the day when I first got into kpop, it was TVXQ that dragged me in lol. They were the first group i was ever a fan of when i was a kid, but now i'm an adult and Stray Kids is my favorite group and Hyunjin is probably my bias. So it was a cool full circle moment. You may have already noticed this but Max Changmin, the MC on Kindgom, is the youngest member from TVXQ! TVXQ used to be a huge huge group, they even held the Guiness World Record for having the largest official fanclub many years ago. The group split in half back in 2010 due to some friction over money and interests. Changmin and Yunho continued on with SM Entertainment under the name TVXQ, while the three members that left formed a new group called JYJ under a different company. Yunho and Changmin are the ones that I still keep up with till this day, listening to new music they put out. Changmin actually just had a solo comeback a little while ago with a song called "Devil" that's super good! You might enjoy it. His voice is so unique and has always been one of my all time favorites in the industry.
Side note: Yoo Taeyang from this performance is also in Kingdom. He's the dancer from SF9 that did the very cool dance performance about the king who's mother dies with Juyeon from The Boyz and DK from IKON! :)
Thanks for the info! I had forgotten about Max Changmin being in TVXQ. I should be able to recognize him moving forward after watching all of Kingdom, but no promises, LOL. I didn't know TVXQ split up, either, but that seems to be a thing in the music industry. Well, life in general. There aren't many relationships of any kind that can incorporate business and last for the long haul.

Felix was my original Stray Kids bias and I still love him, but Hyunjin captured my heart during the Stray Kids elimination debut show, and then it was solidified when he'd do VLives in the practice room. I live in California and often don't sleep well, so I'd get a notif that he was on VLive and I'd tune in, and one of my Twitter mutuals would do translations because he was still starting to learn English back then. But he'd just turn the camera on, and just freestyle or come up with choreo to songs, and then he'd plop down in front of the camera and just randomly talk. The only other artists I've watched doing just random practice and talking are Taeyong and Ten from NCT and Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco (lol).

Since I mentioned Taeyong and Ten, Baby Don't Stop is the MV that made me fall in love w them almost 4 years ago. I felt like I was in heaven when I finally saw them perform it live in early 2020 right before everything shut down.

I feel great admiration for hyunjin, seeing how far he has come, how much he has worked and put so much effort to show how talented he is beyond his appearance, he had difficult times and it shown how resilient he is.
the tremendous popularity he has is totally deserves it .
I know he puts a lot of work into his rap and dance. Deserved popularity, indeed.
