Asphyx makes another wicked album,like all of the other albums.MVD kills it with his vocals.I remember the day I rode my bike about 4 miles away to purchase The Rack.Metal Maniacs mag did a piece about Ashpyxgiving it a 9 out of 10.I bought The Rack and Incubus Into the Unknown.I had a bag of 20 tapes to exchange it for those 2.I must of had close to 1000 tapes trading them in.Who else has done that? We all thank ou guys so much for continuing to make albums and I will be waiting for your new one to come soon.
Probably nobody has done exactly the same. But is a great story. The tapes era was the most magic and wonderful time. Every tape had a story. It was harder to get them than now with all the shops and internet. As i said in another comment, THE RACK has a special place in my heart, because it represents my very introduction to the world of metal. The others were South of Heaven and Live undead, by Slayer, The Grand Leveller by Benediction and Leprosy by Death. So, imagine what is The Rack for me. Good ol' days. Cheers, bro!!

I started listening to metal with a few death metal bands, asphyx - the rack was one of thos tapes. I'm glad that they are one of the few bands so easily recognizable after all these years. Just Asphyx. Forever Asphyx :)
Only discovered these guys last week and loving this stuff. Reminds me of a Bolt Thrower/ Entombed hybrid. Any other great songs you guys would suggest by them?
