- Not really happy with how many hits I've taken near the end but the run was solid otherwise, so I'm uploading it anyway since I got sub 5 at least.

CantaPerMe Valphalk? isnt he called Valkfalk?
He's called バルファルク (BA RU FA RU KU) which is the combination of 'valor' and 'falcon'. I've seen it spelled a couple ways. The wiki uses Valphalk, I prefer Valfalk, and now with you i've seen Valkfalk.
Until/unless we get a localized name, I don't think it really matters. No point in splitting hairs, so long as we all know what we're referring to.
Fogmoz I mean, he's officially called Valphalk in the North American version of Puzzle and Dragons when they did a MH collaboration with Capcom.
Interesting, I had no idea that even existed. I also see Massacre Demon Diablos on there. I wonder if they count as official Western names though.

Hey there I'm really curious as to what the gear is that you're using for this set? Does anyone know what the pieces are?
Sadly you can't replicate this set in the english version of the game because the weapon used in this video is an event weapon that is not available in the english version (I assume because of legal/contractual reasons)
@@CantaPerMe I literally went through looking at every single dual blade and the last pair I looked at were the USJ ones to only find they don't exist. I ended up reading your tweet saying they were gone haha.

I got wrecked so hard using the Brave Dual Blades in the demo. I'm gonna try real hard to master it in the full game!
The Demo doesn't do DB justice, you have no elemental attack and Valphalk has really shitty raw hitzones, so you have to rely on element when using Brave DB against it.
Yeah, the dang thing barely flinched when I went ham on it. LOL
Well, I've still got gears from MHX, but I'm gonna go make a set that boosts elemental damage and practice the Brave style some more, then it will be time for revenge!

How do you think he produces fire? Through gas. What happens when you light a match in gas? That's why it's Fire element, much like with Gogmazios.

It sucks that some monsters are literally impossible to fight without using brave style. And brave style requires the player to be familiar with the monsters attack system in order to counter it. Great. It has certainly helped me against monsters that I am already familiar with but not really helpful against new monsters like the Valphalk. That said, I do like the skill that resharpens your weapon instantly should you perform a counter/parry successfully. The *ting* sound after performing it successfully. Nice.

And it still gets slower times than MH world runs.
Heretic that not because this style is any worse u can't compare the two games. And this games single player hub quest are significantly hardest since they aren't scaled go 1 player and ultimately harder and longer
