As a little brother (sister) who was always Tails, the idea of winning the level and getting promoted to big brother and controlling the screen is mindblowing. Why have they never thought of this before???
It's a great idea but in practice it means I can't give the weakest player the benefit of the screen following them. It's usually locked on whoever is most experienced, which is exactly who needs it the least. It works great when each player has a similar skill level & can compete for the crown though.

I will say, the reason customer service workers talk like that is because people aren’t as kind as Arin and Dan. Usually, people are angry, volatile, and sometimes violent. It may be a very annoying tone, but we’re trained to be as business-y as possible to prevent any escalation of conflict.
Also when I worked phone support your words were monitored and we weren't allowed to say things like "That sucks," or "that's too bad." Couldn't even say "yep" or "yeah."
IMHO even though Dan keeps calling it "Little Brother mode" in a weird way, I feel that Yoshi/Nabbit are actually intended for the PARENT that is playing with their child(ren). That way the kid(s) can be the focal point of the adventure. They get the power ups, they get to be the heroes, you're there to keep them safe, and keep the Game Over screen from ever showing up! They can just keep going and being heroes!
I have a little cousin who LOVES Mario and he was talking about this game and I was like "I don't know anything about this but it's nice" so thank you, Game Grumps, for being my source for new Mario so I can hold conversation with my cousin.

To anyone curious, while there are many soft shelled turtles with a long snout, the Pig Nosed Turtle is the closest to what they see here. Though similar in appearance it is not a Softshell but belongs to another family of turtles. They are adorable and more people need to see them.

Call centers are rough. I worked at one during college and transferred to a different department a few months later. Then, because of the freaking recession years ago, I applied at a call center and had to do a computerized test. The test had a series of fake callers and you could only choose between 3 answers each time. Everything was very scripted and I found it annoying. But, I did so well the VP of the company said she wanted to hire me as a corporate trainer instead and promised me a larger hourly wage and such. But when I arrived to sign the contract, I met my actual boss, who was the HR Manager, and she basically belittled me, told me I was only going to be a trainer for much lower pay than promised, and her snootiness was so horrible I literally walked down a small mountain to get away from that place. I didn't sign the contract and I'm glad I never went back. I hope you recover soon from that experience. I've heard horror stories from others who worked at call centers.

I think the secret to BAD grease, is that a low quality canola oil doesn't retain heat so it gets cool and gross fast. Good olive oil is good anyway, and butter hardens if it gets cold, so it's a different thing but it's that morning-after stale box pizza that isn't too bad, goes well with beer and cures hangover.

That puzzle stage was really difficult for me and my friend. We had to come back to it with different characters. I'm impressed Dan and Arin got it.
