"Men moved with purpose" is a useless throwaway line that adds nothing to the story. There are others, but stating the obvious in a story is wasting everybody's time and also has the added benefit of not moving the story forward. We can surmise the humans are not sending some poorly trained rabble forward.
That phrase always comes somehow in the story after translation. I try to clean text from these stupid phrases but sometimes some of them slipp through. 😄
