Neither team has seen the best of what each has. This game will be very interesting. Close if ND can’t establish the run game. If ND can get the run going…I don’t see how IU can hang.
ND showed out. The NIL loss early had a Riley Leonard who wasn’t ready, denbrock was figuring him out, they ran up against a senior team playing there Super Bowl and still only loss by 2. Indiana is a great story. It’s about to end. IU doesn’t have a strong recruiting class and they have a hill to climb to get there.
My biggest concern is that it feels like Riley Leonard still has a bad game he needs to get out of his system. Which obviously can't happen in the playoffs.
@@PrimeTyme-o1o…yeah…that dude. The same dude that left that school, was placed in his natural position as a coach “Defensive coordinator”, took his defense to the Super Bowl, almost won, brought it to ND and went 11-1. Miami hasn’t won a SINGLE game of ANY importance since he left.
@@LAfan-pj4fqThe Irish are firing on all cylinders now. That loss motivated the team to do their best for the rest of the season. I see ND winning this one.

as an Iu fan i think we would have lost at ohio st that day anyway, but only the score said we were man handled, Iu actually marched down field first series and scored , held ohio st to 2 3 and outs early, then had the punter wiff a snap right through his hands , then not typical punt coverage, the special teams usually really strong...... man the game flow of that day was super weird...it should have been way closer..... with that said even if they didnt do the bad things they dont normally do .... IU would have lost that one. Ohio state at ohio st is no joke tho for any team, if you win there something went real right for you....if IU didnt clean up the silent snap count, I think it will be close to the same result, If they play like they can the have a chance..... reguardless i will root for whoever comes out of this game moving fwd.
@@Doc3-h5vy’all are in for a rude awakening if you think ur gonna walk all over IU. ND is solid, but so is IU. It was 7-7 with 1:30 left in the half at Ohio St. Special teams fell apart and Ohio St. was able to time the snap with the silent count and tee off on them. That won’t happen on Friday. Michigan ran for more on Texas and Oregon then Indiana. Michigan State ran for 59 on Oregon, 47 on Ohio State, 163 on Michigan, and -36 vs Indiana....and yes I know sacks are factored in
@brendangilmartin4002 I'm excited to see IU face the challenge. Love was 25 for 70 combined vs Louisville GT and we're better then them defensively, but he's def explosive. I'm more concerned with Leonard running and the man to man when ND throws it downfield because our safeties are def going to load the box.
Over 4 quarters the o line is going to lean on IU and you’ll have to account for Leonard’s ability to run. He’s much faster and elusive than you might think.
12:47 Why do ppl claim Indiana beat themselves with "mistake after mistake"? Indiana fumbled ONCE!! No Interceptions! There were only 3 Penalties on Indiana for 15 yards. Ohio had 8 Penalties for 58 yards. 😂Stop! Indiana was dominated.
They have no idea on how to track who naught tickets btw, mostly they look at address , we’ll guess what IU has a huge fan base in Indiana lol and in Chicago. 3500 out of 77k? Yeah nope

@PrimeTyme-o1o….when have you heard the ND staff OR players underestimate IU? I’ve seen you comment like 3-4 times on this post and I’ve come to the conclusion that you don’t really know football. You are just an ND hater…which is fine, be that….but don’t act like you know football when the way you are talking, sounds like you don’t.
Problem is that host teams in playoffs should be required to make at least 25% of tickets to visiting schools. Playoffs should not be overwhelmingly hostile home team environments.
Agreed ... and I'd bet the NCAA does step in and set a minimum ticket allowance for road team during the playoff games. 10,000 seats guaranteed for the visitors out of 77,622 seems equitable without taking the home field advantage away from Notre Dame in this case. @It'sYourReallySuperSoftTake that's really lame. There are only two profitable sports that are NCAA sanctioned. Those being basketball and football. The NCAA Basketball Tournament has ZERO home games for the specific purpose of not giving one team or another and unfair advantage. I don't think the CFP Playoff games should be played on a neutral field but I do think the visiting team should get more than 3500 seats in a stadium that holds over 77,000 people.
All these guys only watched the IU Ohio State game. Crowd noise forced IU to go to a silent count. Once OSU figured that out, they jumped every snap. Plus Big Ten officials always lean heavily for Ohio State. The game broke open when Ohio State D tackled jumped into our guard. The officials huddled and called a phantom call against the IU tight end which replay should never moved along with no one else for Indiana. The punt return that OSU scored on had not 1, not 2 but 3 blocks in the back that weren't called. Its not bad officiating, its corrupt officiating and it happens every year. IU has a better shot against Notre Dame because the officiating will not be so corrupt. And IU should have some wrinkles for crowd noise. Notre Dame will not be able to block Mikail Kamara. He is 260 lbs of twitch and a 3rd team All American. IU is also #1 in the country against the run. This will be strength on strength. It will be a close game but IU fans feel confident. This will not be a blowout either way.
