- Surface Modeling SolidWorks, Advanced Surface Tutorial
Do you want to learn how to use surface modeling? And becoming and expert on Surfacing, then this video exactly for you.
Surface modeling is an alternative to Solid Body modeling. Essentially, it’s just another tab at the top of the SOLIDWORKS User Interface. Surface modeling is an important tool to have in your box because it not only makes modeling easier, it sometimes makes modeling possible. In other words, there’s some geometry that is impossible to create without using surface features.
In this video you will see a Advanced Surfacing example. Some Surface Commands used in this video as follows:
Extrude Surface
Revolve Surface
Boundary Surface
Surface Trim
Knit Surface
Lofted Surface
Swept Surface
Delete Face
Ruled Surface
Project Curve
Pattern
Variable Fillet

Thanks a lot boss for the tutorial. We are learning great surfacing tools for free.
Welcome Dear.
I am glad you benefit them. 😊
you are a surfacing master, is it possible to share some idea of how to make designs for injection molding ?
Best surface tutorials ever ❤️ question outside the box...is solidworks the best for surface modelling? Why it is so tricky in solidworks when it comes to surfacing
Hi Ravin,
Thanks for your comment.
There are better programs for surfacing, but Solidworks is not bad at all.
Some surfacing programs very powerful but not user friendly and only good at that Specific task, yet Solidworks is very versatile.
I love this video! It was very useful, and also kind of funny. Liked and subscribed!
Hi Dear.

Welcome Man.
Yes I will.
Thanks but bro try to always use "partial preview" option when you are making fillets please! It will let you see what is happening for the edges by fillets before you click done, it will save you a lot of time and struggle for us as viewers :)
Hi thanks for comment.
Normally I do that but when I do make videos sometimes I forget it. Sorry, I will try to keep in mind.
@@3D-World Thank you!!
Sir how to measure volume of the bottle if it is greater or lesser than 500 ml how to make exactly 500 ml
Good question: you need to copy internal surfaces and make it a solid then you can measure that volume.
There is sensor option in feature tree. You can define volume, weight etc options.
Best Regards.
PLEASE DO LONG VIDEOS
Hi Man, thanks for your comment.
Sir please explain with diagram
What do you mean by a diagram?
@@3D-World A sketch from where you see the dimensions and then create any 3d digram
For such complex surfacing models I never saw a sketch, I think won't be ever there as well.
Bro im going to college for this
Nice, enjoying there so far ?
@@3D-World forgot to add that im starting next month but i had a class in high school like this and enjoyed it and did well enough so i figured i could get a decent job with a degree in it apologize for my grammar
Happy for you, I wish you success there 😉
It is not rocket science, you can do it. And as you mentioned pays good as well.
@@3D-World Thank you bro I wish you more success too.
