Carnival Venezia Embarkation Day - Christmas Cruise & 1st Sailing from Port Canaveral for the Winter

- Welcome to my four day cruise on Carnival Venezia sailing out of Port Canaveral. This is my first time on Carnival's Italian Style Ship. We are going to Nassau and Freeport.
Today is embarkation day, which means exploring the ship and the sail away party. This is Carnival Venezia's first time sailing out of Port Canaveral this year. Venezia sails out of New York but moves to Port Canaveral for the winter. And what makes this cruise even better is that it is a Christmas Cruise, which means Santa, the Grinch, Caroling, and of course Ugly Sweaters! Embarkation day is always my favorite day of the cruise because everyone is in a great mood and I'm seeing the ship for the first time!

So cool, you sail on the first Canaveral cruise of the season for Venezia and I get to close out(or almost) the season in April before she sails back to New York.. Looks like a Vista class vessel with some subtle changes..So looking forward to the sailing! Thanks for taking us around to see the ship!
I've never been on the Vista class yet, that is the only ship I haven't been on that leaves out of Port Canaveral. I hope you enjoy the ship, it is really nice.
I've sailed Venezia 3 times already. One of my favorite ships. Took her down to the repositioning. Enjoy. We want her back in NY in May!
You might get her back in May, but I'm going to need her back down here in November. I'm already booked to visit Celebration Key on her!

I'm sure you'll have a great time - It's a beautiful ship, even better than the video shows. And make sure to stop by the piano bar after 9 pm, Gil is a great piano player!
me and my daughter are going on this cruise in april and it will be our first for us. We are celebrating graduation and birthday.. My parents are also going and this is their third. my dad is a veteran.

Do you do faster to fun?
I don't because I am cheap. I get on at Midnight when check in starts so I usually get an early boarding time. However, the workers said because it was pouring rain, they were letting everyone on as they showed up for this cruise.
@ awesome to know. We cruised Glory in Dec (my first ever cruise). I am hearing and visually impaired and so we did faster to fun to allow more time. We are cruising Mardi Gras in Feb and F2F was sold out. Hoping if we check in after midnight we can get an early spot. Love all of your tips and thanks for sharing your cruises! Also a huge Panthers fan here (I am from Spartanburg) and now live outside Orlando. Love your channel!

I love the Mardi Gras theming. What did you think of it? We are going on the Celebration in a couple of weeks, I know it's the same layout but I really enjoy Mardi Gras decorations so I hope the Celebration has a good theme and decor.
@HangingOutWithMike I don't know if I was impressed by the Mardi Gras the food in some of the specialty restaurants was not good at all I did love emeralds and the Seafood Grill the hot tubs sucked they were not very hot nor did they bubble very much it was like taking a lukewarm bath I would give it a 7 out of 10
