I feel really bad for Ayse imagine the man you love and the father of your children ignoring you and even marrying another woman. Her jealousy is understandable but acting on it and doing such a bad thing to Farye and making her barren was so evil.
Ayse’s jealousy was off the Richter scale from the start: She actually tried to get Farya murdered on the way to Uskadr - when nothing had happened between Murad & Farya & when Farya wanted to go home to save her mother & her homeland. Back when Lalezar was promising Atifap she would be sent to Murad’s havlet.
Farya and Murad's marriage was her greatest punishment
So far I never found murad cruel. He was very brutal but everyone he was brutal to deserved it. But this was borderline inhuman, this is where his cruelty starts imo. One man kicked farya and killed the baby and over 60 freaking ppl got beheaded for it, many of them probably didn’t even say anything to her

@@AS-yz2iz I don't know if I would go as far as to say Murad was cruel to Ayse except maybe very early on when he didn't tell her where he was going at night and then after he found out she tried to get Farya murdered on the way to Uskadr. But then again he may have been even crueler to Farya after the pig head incident. Although anything that happens after Ayse arranged the attack on Farya & killed Murad's baby & left Farya unable to have children is a different kettle of fish & has to be seen differently.

A Muslim can marry a non Muslim but the future husband or wife is expected to convert and any children have to be brought up as muslims however, I knew some young Muslims who did not expect their wife to convert and also left the wives to sort out the religion side of any children. They were obviously unusually very liberal.

Sorry but I don't think there is much evidence that Farya wants power. If she'd wanted power, she wouldn't have tried to leave with her mother. I can understand her wanting Murad to marry her. After all being his mistress would have been anathema to her as a Christian princess.

Wow that is 2 big calls right there. Firstly it’s arguable that Farya is just as beautiful as Hurrem but that’s a matter of opinion. However there is no doubt that Farya is orders of magnitude more innocent than Hurrem. Just in terms of killing people Hurrem murders quite a few concubines because Suleiyman liked them. Then she plotted and manipulated Suleiyman into murdering one of his own sons (Mustafa) and his best friend (Pargali). Whereas Farya only ever kills people in combat or self defence.

La 1ere actrice a été virée pour y mettre une actrice connue car l’audimat était bas. Je pense que c’est plus les hommes qui sont trop vieux pour jouer leurs rôles. Ahmed est censé avoir 14 ans quand il devient papa. Kösem avait environ le même âge. Je pense qu elle est censée avoir la fin de la trentaine/début de la quarantaine là.

There are a couple of sultans that have married Christian women, it's not completely unheard of lol. Eventually the women tend to convert to Islam though. Some civilians married Christian women too. Even in the harem when concubines would convert, it makes sense as they weren't even allowed to have crosses with them.
Also Princess farya is based in a Christian Princess that sultan murad actually married, she later became Muslim, her name is semsisah sultan.
