Kinda sad that they rarely use the Luigis mansion design for him. Like why did they feel the need to make a separate design for him that is essentially more lazy than the one they already had?
@@Wolfywolf7 I saw him there first too, but it's just a bit too simplistic for me. It's literally just a boo with a crown and maybe his tongue sticking out more than that of other boos.

Though we know of at least one other king boo from Sunshine, he had a different name in the japanese version but in western countries he is simply called king boo too, so there are actually 2 of them^^
@@Wolfywolf7 I always interpreted that as SM64DS taking place before Luigis mansion, with King Boo becoming more and more sadistic over the course of each game.

Probably not the King Boo in Luigi’s Mansion and King Boo in the main series they are likely different characters because their personalities are very different even by Mario standards

I still don't know why the GameCube version looks better than the Wii one even tho it's an older console.
They have around the same power, the Wii isn't much better in terms of graphics
It's almost the same model, but the GC one has more animations.

ya know a lot of people criticize the sports design of king boo for not being like the luigi's mansion design but personally I think the fact that the design is just a big boo with a crown adds a lot of charm to the design's simplicity and tbh I think this design fits the sports/kart games much more than the more creepy luigi's mansion design seeing as how the sports/kart games are much more lighthearted than luigi's mansion
I respect your opinion but honestly I can’t agree. It’s really no more complex or less lighthearted than Dry Bowser. The personality and vibes of the two designs are so different they might as well be different characters.

@@Wolfywolf7 LOL no one said that he changes into his sports design when he gets his gem removed, the only reason he looks different is to fit the more lighthearted nature of the more traditional mario games, also he literally ISN'T less evil, he threatened paper mario's life to make regular mario and luigi surrender in mario and luigi paper jam, he is clearly just as evil as he is in luigi's mansion
@@Wolfywolf7 they weren't threatening him, he threatened them since he literally tried to sneak up on them while they were both just minding their own business and even if they did attack first (which they didn't) they would have had every right to since king boo was holding paper mario hostage, you clearly haven't played paper jam, also LM king boo did care for his minions, the whole reason he kidnapped mario in the first place was to avenge the boo's that were invaded by mario in those boo houses back in super mario world, they are literally the same character LMAO

i.e True... But why all the clones. I bet soon they're gonna come out with Baby Pink Gold Peach. Why not more Mario spinoff series characters? We had Diddy Kong and Funky Kong in Mariokart Wii. So what's wrong with using a character like Kammy Koopa or Sergeant Guy?

@@mikehunt3962 Yeah, there are way too many clones filling the rosters nowadays. I think that characters from the Paper Mario games is a good idea, even Mr. L even though he is Luigi, just brainwashed.
Sparkle YT Speaking of Paper Mario characters, I think it would have been cool to also promote SPM in Mario Kart Wii. The two most likely that would have been in that game would be either Count Bleck or Dimentio.
I also think that it would be cool to see Donkey Kong or WarioWare/Wario Land characters since they're also somewhat Mario related.

How does he even drive a kart when he has no legs I understand how he could could drive a bike and I believe an ATV since you don't use your legs to make a bike and possibly an ATV move but you need legs to push the gas pedal it's just questionable even by Mario logic standards.
