Alien Romulus is a film that tries to recreate the best elements of the past Alien films and also bring something refreshing. I saw this twice in one day. I agree the ending is underwhelming and is just a recreation of things we seen before. I was disappointed in the amount of screen time with the xenomorph whether practical or cgi I expected more. Nice review either way.

A very excellent movie and I liked that it continued in the same vein as the first and second in terms of excitement and suspense with action in most of the movie's scenes and the new characters were presented well and really made me care about some of them, although some of the events were expected but the directing with the photography and colors and the soundtrack were legendary and the movie is very excellent from a technical standpoint, the heroes (Cailee Spaeny) with (David Johnson) were wonderful and the movie provided a very respectable dose of fan service and appreciates the first and second parts of the series, a wonderful cinematic experience

This is a very enjoyable film for the most part but still has it's faults in my opinion. I love that Fede Álvarez went back to practical effects. I wished he used more scenes with the xenomorph as I felt we never really had much time in that regard with said creature. The cast fantastic, the story had two strong first and second acts , and unfortunately lost me by the third. I felt it could have been better. Hey, ho, still another good entry in the Alien Franchise.
