I guess this is common problem with this model. My son phone is the same. Just ordered the charging board yesterday. Might do this repair next few days. Cheap type c port probably.

Hello, i have a Redmi 8 of 4/64
I had this issue 1 months ago, i took my phone to the repaire store, he couldn't find the issue because my phone show that it is charging but staying stuck in 1% for example, and sometimes it charges for 30% and stuck again!!!
So i took my phone to my friend which is good at electronics,
He changed that circuit board, and now it is working, but after a month of using it it goes back again, 2 days ago my phone stopped charging again, it still shows that it is charging but the % doesn't move a bit.
What do you think is the problem so i can fix it once a time,
