Hopefully you don’t take this the wrong way but that behavior is totally normal, one way you can help her is by reading her books that are focusing more on emotions and feelings that way she can define what she is feeling and slowly start communicating if she is sad, mad etc. sometimes kids feel emotions that they don’t even know what are why they are feeling that way you know? I hope this helps
Ms Rachel has a video on emotions with visuals and all not sure if she understands English yet if she doesn’t there’s this channel by the name Aprende Peque, here on youtube. She’s spanish based, heard amazing things about her for littles that are Spanish speakers. I went over to her channel to see if she had anything like the video i’m talking about and SHE DOES! just released the video in April so pretty recent!! hope this helps mama!
@@ggmfamat this age you are not guiding. You are the governor. You are firmly in charge, setting limits and making decisions because they can’t yet understand cause and effect. Boundaries are very important at this age and they definitely will test them. But you must be firm with the boundaries you set or there will be a lot of power struggles. Stay strong Gemma! You’re doing amazing! (Also don’t want this to sound like I’m telling you how to parent your child this is just what worked for us🫶🏻)
Last time I checked we don’t ask kids if they want to do things we tell them what to do, my mom didnt give us explanation of where we’re going at 2 let alone teach how to bribe at that age and we never even had the audacity to say no or throw a tantrum. The adult is in charge not the kid.
The fact that little Gemmalee is in a big girl bed now makes me think of when i transitioned my kids to their big kid bed😭 so happy she had a great first night ❤ she is going to be an amazing big sister and an amazing helper. Let Marcus know she did all the work😂😂
As a first time mom your videos gave me so much comfort 🤱🏽 you keep it so real with us I’m thankful for that because it’s the reality of being a MOM ! 🩷🩷
Try getting rid of the bottle before potty training! That way you won’t struggle so much with the night training! I recommend reading the oh crap potty training book! Made potty training so easy for me and my 2 year old!
She was ready for the transition! Please keep us updated 🙏🏻 I have a 2.5 year old who sleeps in his crib in our room. We actually took a huge step backwards cause he used to sleep in his own room in his crib but he wasn’t sleep trained so woke up too much through out the night that we moved him in to our room. He sleeps the whole night now and we’re making the transition when he turns 3 into his own room.
Bittersweet moment 😪 ❤ i hope Gemmalee enjoys her new bed. And i love how she speaks spanish really good ❤ & hang in there, mamma. Having a toddler can be stressful at times. My son is 4 and autistic and every day is different. let's just hope that as they get older, it gets better❤❤
She will continue to act this way if yall keep letting her get away with it. We are creatures of habit and if she sees that she always gets what she wants with doing these “tantrums” she’s gonna keep doing it. Don’t be afraid to put your foot down and let her know who’s boss girl👍🏼
I notice she snatched your camera a lot, shes probably interpreting it as “ helping you” . I think creating boundaries will be very beneficial for her and for you in the long run🫶🏻 . Maybe you could get her a little toy camera for herself, and redirect her to get hers when she tries to do that to you. Remember moms, boundaries are good 🤍
She actually has her own camera too! I don’t mind letting her record cause we get to see life through her eyes at times 🥰 but definitely agree, boundaries are always good!
I don’t understand how people always comment they can’t understand her??That’s just how she talks and I mean there are captions… like why comment? Anyways thank you Gemma for doing your best as always! I don’t have kids and can’t even imagine how busy it gets! I have a hard time as it is trying to find enough time through the day to get things done but somehow you’re killing it! I appreciate everything and anything you put your time into. Gemmalee is going to be an amazing big sister! You and Marcus are doing amazing 🤍🤍🤍🤍
i have a niece who’s 3 and looks exactly like Gemmalee and guess what her name is… EMILY😂🥹i love watching your family grow! what’s crazy is that my sister in law is also pregnant with a baby girl too!! what a small world 🩷wish you nothing but the best🩷
