A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician on the road at age 17 for two years, but went part-time ever since while holding day careers including as a chef and in spiritual health care while raising a family.
I've recorded hundreds of my own songs- many being used in media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, performing in International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I abandoned the prog genre more or less back in the 1990s but have returned to it now with vigour a full 30 years later- so much prog I've ignored and quite frankly didn't have any idea about. My own prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i detoured into grunge, pop and alternative instead (then folk and acoustic fingerstyle guitar and ambient electric as well).

I love it when Lula yells out "LUNA!!" I remember walking down the street in BsAs a few years ago, and Luna Park was in the distance. I could only imagine how many great concerts had been played at that venue.

Cool. Did you know that before the shutdown they toured Argentina with The Warning? That's where I heard of them. They went to Monterrey to do a couple shows with The Warning just when touring was starting again.

Well, you pushed me over the edge. I've had a cd of theirs sitting on my wish list on Amazon for a while, awaiting inclusion with a bigger order... so it should be arriving soon.
Well... I got it. I love it, although I don't have a translator in house like you do. I love the jazz feeling to their rock. (BTW, I got ES. I looked up the band on the AMG site to get advice on which to buy)
There is an argentinian band called “sur oculto”, its not so popular, but is great, a power trio just as you like, fusion of jazz and progressive.

If you want to listen something from another south american country, i recommend the band "La Triple Nelson", a power trio from my little country Uruguay. And the only good live recording i know is from the channel "AutoresEnVivo AgaduUruguay". I think is worth your time (and if not, you can blame me, i can take it XD ).
