From 2009 till 2016 is 7 years, so it's actually around 6 years and 11 months. But yeah, it felt so short and yet moving.
I think she meant she had been playing this song for a week, not that she had never played the piano before. But damn. It was only 7 years but she had just enough time to achieve her goal. To make a difference. How many of us can say that? This was not for nothing. She is going to keep making a difference, even if the price seems much too high. The final chapter of Christina's story has not been written yet.

This breaks my heart. I discovered Christina's youtube when I was in 6th grade (6 years ago), and she quickly became someone I looked up to and aspired to be like throughout middle school. She was my inspiration and reason I learned how to play piano, and inspired me to be in the choir i'm in today. She was so young and incredibly talented, and she had so much more to give to the world, but she was taken before it was her time. Rest in peace Christina. You left something beautiful behind and you will never be forgotten.

I'm sobbing right now because this girl was my idol as a child. She was just beginning to have her life set out for her and it was brutally torn away from her before she could live it to the fullest. This is the brutal reality of the world I guess.

July 17, 2009 she started making TH-cam videos. And, in all her sadness, the TH-cam videos ended on June 17, 2016 (Memorial Video) Exactly 6 Years and 1 Month she used making TH-cam videos. God Bless her and all her hard work. RIP Christina

I used to watch this as a kid, loved it, looked up to her and even styled my hair the same. She gave me motivation to learn what I love, music. It's crazy when you grow up you forget a lot but remember all the small things. Christina wasn't only a small thing to me. She was there when no one else was. I watched her videos to not only help me when I was sad at 12 years old, but to help me be better with music. Now 25, I got excited about her one night drinking with friends and talking about inspiring people growing up, then learned, she was gone.. and not in a fair way.. I loved this girl so much.. this is not ok... I just thought I'd share how much she impacted my life as a teenager growing up not knowing what to do with my emotions then learning music is the way out. I really wish she was still here. Id love to thank her, maybe even be her friend.. but I will leave this here to let you all know. She will not be forgotten.

Bring me back to this time. I don't care if I didn't know her when she published this. I'd rather have me not knowing her, 50, 100, I don't care how many people never knew her. I don't care if that means she wouldn't succeed in TH-cam. She deserves to live. Even if she didn't carry on in her career, she should've lived. Why'd she have to go? Anyone and everyone who was ever asked about her always said things positive and she "would light up the whole room" and "she's full of happiness. Why can't she just be on Earth living? To Mark, I want to say you've been such a great brother to her, and I could see it in her video's, bloopers, and other's video's. The amount of love a brother and sister can have for each other is way below what you guys had (and I'm speaking from experience). To Tina, I want you to keep pushing forward. You're such a strong woman, fighting cancer. I know you are an inspiration to many who are taking on the battle themselves also. To Albert, wow. You raised her right. I can't believe it's already been 7 years since this was uploaded! I remember the day I found you in 2010 and how I binge watched your videos for several hours. My first reaction was to tell my whole family how amazing you were. I loved Advice so much and was a bit disappointed when I couldn't the song on TH-cam. I remember when I first seen you in concert and how I could hear you doing your soundcheck from outside the venue. You were singing Only Girl In The World. I was so excited to hear you live. I remember the day you first tweeted me. I was so desperate. I literally prayed that you would tweet me. It worked. I remember when you followed me. I stayed up until 2 AM spamming you and you finally followed me. I remember when I first met you. You were so sick but you still came to the meet & greet because you didn't want to disappoint us. I was so happy that you remembered me from Twitter. You kept telling me that you see my tweets all the time. I'm so thrilled that you loved the gifts I gave you. I was so excited to see you wearing the Ring of Power on stage that night and at the other shows you wore it at. That meant so much to me. I remember when I talked to you on the phone when I called into a radio show. That was so awesome. I remember the first time when we played Super Smash Bros together. You were so much better than me. I didn't even stand a chance against you but you still played against me. I got better though and I managed to win a few rounds. I'm best with Link and you can't stand fighting him so that was always fun. I remember all the times you said hi to me on Twitch and how you kept telling me that you remembered me. I remember when we found out you were going to be on The Voice. I was so proud. I voted for you so much every week. And it was so awesome seeing you again on The Voice Tour. We didn't meet that night but the concert was so great. I'm so glad that I made it into the Feelin' Good music video. That is one of my proudest accomplishments. I remember meeting you for the second time on the Wildfire tour. You were so excited when you seen me in the crowd and we made eye contact so much. When I came up to you at the meet & greet, I didn't even have to tell you who I was. You just gave me a huge hug and told me that it was good to see me again. I loved how you told me that you'd be coming on stage to sing with Rachel and that you wanted me to come back after her set so we could talk more. I was so happy when you waved at me as you left. Thanks for this. I remember reading your twitter posts about your history with Christina, and I remember your story on "In Memoriam: Christina Grimmie, my friend" (not the main article, but one of the comments on it). Several years later, Christina's story became a beacon of light for me in my darkest moments. I feel like I owe her for every day I live after that time (not to say that this is actually true. The one I truly owe is the Lord for all of His goodness during that time. Nevertheless, Christina was a huge part of that process, and the feeling still remains).
