hahaha, i think the fact they are very much in love with each other shows and they don't know exactly how to act about that. they want and make an effort to be close, but still are afraid to name the feeling itself, i think.
They say you lose part of the story when it’s adapted to the screen. But these two had amazing chemistry and they told a beautiful story of Jaime and Brienne. I miss them so much!!!! I do not take the ending as the real thing since the writers of the show had to come up with someone to wrap up the show and the book isn’t even finished yet. So I am still holding out for a beautiful Brienne/jaime ending
