This is really helpful Narmada! So she doesn’t deep condition regularly? My mind is blown because we always hear the “importance of never skipping a deep condition”
Im more amazed by that given she has color! I feel like i need to d/c every week in the winter with my color treated hair...more over i wish my stylist saw this video before she "trimed" 1 and a half inches of my hair recently. I can barely do a twistout without it taking hours now...
So here's the thing with that. I'm kinda amazed by that as well. But when she first came to me with her new color done by her other stylist that specializes in hair color. Her hair was very much drier and her ends had splits and thinning. Very early on we cut what needed to be cut with her color about 2-3 inches and her hair seemed to revitalize itself. It's my belief that her hair became excessively dry due to the color damaging her ends and make it more porous. Ever since we haven't had a need to do any treatments and I'm happy to see her hair is still thriving with me with just our monthly style regimen and good Ol hair grease 👌
@@sunflower5858 I just want to add if you use a premium rinse out conditioner then you won't have to deep condition. The premium rinse out will do the same as your typical deep conditioner.
@@AfrikanHairGod i see. Thabks for the context. So is she still color treating her hair or she's sworn off that until further notice? I myself am kinda in the latter mindset right now. Mainly cause if lack of funds lol
What natural product can I use to cover my white hair around the perimeter of my head. And thank you for another educational hair video. Keep on coming cuz I love to be educated about my natural hair.
It can. You just need to simplify and streamline your hair care. Once you get your hair on track you just need to maintain it. The hardest part is just getting to this point
BTW, thank you for recommending the Silkomb Wide Tooth Tail comb. Used it on my son's hair last weekend and be far the best rat tail comb i've used.

How do you know if damage has traved all the way up the roots? How does that look like?
Thanks for this video ❤️❤️
What brush are you using?
It’s a d38 denmen paddle brush, I believe.
