Vintage & Antiques Shop With Me // Cutest Vintage Shops & Mermaid Statues!!

- In this video I take you to a couple of shops that I found recently in New Smyrna Beach, FL. These two shops were so much fun to visit. We first start out going to Jeff's Antique Mall. Not my store, however I did find quite a bit that could be mine! From vintage glass and porcelain, to farmhouse antiques it has a little bit of everything. Antique malls usually have separate vendors who decorate their booths a different way. It is always fun to shop an antique mall. We then drive over to The Vintage Mermaid. This store is too cute. The owner's have painted the finishes on the building and inside to give it a warm beachy vibe. At the Vintage Mermaid, the owner gives free classes on painting techniques to redo your old piece of furniture in many different styles. She has everything you would need to redo your furniture all sorts of paints, brushes, appliques, molds etc. I loved the mermaid statues in this store, it is loaded, we are just needing more room to fit one in our home. Hi ya Jeff . Thanks for taking us shopping with you . I would have brought a few things home , well a lot of things home . My Tammy does this she finds old furniture pieces that people throw out and she does them up . She uses the chalk paints as well . I don't think any of my furniture was brought new . The recliner in the photo I sent you is part of a lounge suite when I got it , it was a burgundy velvet but Tammy and myself did it up like new to match my family room . Last year Tammy did a lot of work doing furniture up she found on her rescue travels . She did a 1950s 4 seater extension table up it now sits in my granny flat with Tammy . I think I sent you a picture of Tammy doing it in the yard . She spends hours doing it . Now in lockdown she finds things to do . The mirror in my hall she put wooden roses on it to make it look the part for my hall . I love it . She wants to make a hall stand and put the mirror on it . Me yes I would love it . Well I've got something to tell you . One time I went out to get food items to last us a couple of weeks , well I got a text message from our covid health here to get tested again . You have to QR code before you go in the stores here . And yes I was in the store the same time as the person with it wasn't I . So now we are all in quarentine for 14 days . We are ok but I'm not taking any chances . My doctor has been put on leave because if it . It's getting bad here in Sydney areas I'm out west but it's found its way here . My Oh My , Awesome shops this trip ...I saw so many things I would have been tempted to go home with . The first mermaid as you walked in the vintage Mermaid was Gorgeous !!! Thank you Angela for all the editing that you do , I can't begin to imagine how hard it would be to watch all the video's without your work. Jeff , you just have to buy one of Angela's likes , I wonder what it would be , I'm thinking it might be one to hang on a wall . Have a Great day !

Thanks for sharing the video including the vintage sewing machines! As a quilter I always try to find them in resale and antique shops. Right now I have 5 vintage machines, but they always want new friends!! Great video!

Great mall. Actually, my husband has a question for you. As you know, I collect vintage items and some antiques, but my hubby collects tools and he wants to know if you collect tools as he has taken a liking in you since you have become our evening favorite channel.

Good morning Jeff, still on vacation in the Fingerlakes, my husband's sleeping in late so was able to catch today's totally awesome video! Love the painted furniture, that's a hobby of mine. I just painted a couple of vintage buffets for a hair salon to be used as hair styling stations, toooo cute!

I found one of those moose creamer/pitchers in blue and white several years ago in an antique shop on Tybee Island. The lady told me it was very rare. The next year I found a smaller one at a yard sale. Now you've found one in brown. I guess that makes them rare...ish, right?
The Royal Bayrueth factory in Germany has been a leading maker of fine porcelain since its start in 1794 ! Still in business today.....so far with depends on year it was made ....it is all very desirable and collectible !!! Nice find friend 😎👍📷🎬
