Im from the town in this case. A plaque on Our main street for Warren Barnes (victim). He was an active reader, and the store owners down there put out a chair and let him read and helped him. He never begged for money. The time he begged was for his life at the hands of this creten. The plaque is called "The Reading Man" his name is Warren Barnes. He is remembered.
A local artist casted Warrens chair and placed in the middle are casts of his favorite books "Memory Man, The Last of the Breed, The Men from the Broken Hills, And You Also"
I had a 9 year old student who tried to kill a classmate by repeatedly beating her head into the hard floor during an explosive rage fit. It took 3 of us to get him off the girl leaving us all with minor injuries. When sequestered in the principal's office, he rage on and destroyed the office. Only parents were called. I still feel that level of violence deserved police intervention. His parents were suing the district for physically removing him from another student he was beating to a pulp. I had a first grader who was "being reviewed for special placement " after several instances of "sexually offensive touching" of a classmate. The school only took action after her parents threatened to sue. In both cases, the offending students' parents refused to see what was so evident to us. In both cases the schools and districts were ill prepared to deal with the situation and were more concerned about image and litigation than providing safety for the victims. Often parents only see what they want to see, and only do what is convenient for themselves in the moment.
One time, on Chase's channel, he taught us how to recognize a "psy-ops" when its happening. I can't tell you how much having this new knowledge has reassured me! This was the world's best public service announcement, for which I thank you with all my heart, Chase.
“… maybe Shakespeare’s gonna come into this shit. We don’t know!” Omg, I laughed my head off and we are only 2 minutes in. Chase, I love your dry sense of humor!😂
That isn't a board he is drawing on, it is just the wall. Which I found fascinating because he not only felt the need to draw a diagram of an overpass in order to explain it to the detectives, when everyone knows what an overpass is and what it roughly would've looked like, but he felt that need so strongly that he saw the wall as a completely appropriate canvas to use pen on to show them. Many parents with young kids will tell you that is going to be a nightmare to clean off, but he feels no concern about essentially vandalizing the room there. And isn't there paper on the desk, why not use that? And he draws it so high up. Perhaps he unconsciously or consciously wanted to display it to everyone there in the same way a teacher would use a whiteboard to display something, to teach the class or to display a student's work... Not only that, but I think the most interesting part is that I don't think his drawing/diagram makes his description of it being an overpass any clearer or more vivid-I actually think it is completely the opposite. It is a very strange drawing/diagram. So interesting that he wanted to do that and also didn't think twice about whether or not he should do it.
Great, interesting, some element of graffiti in there too? Like, well I'm caught, so this is my time now, and you're in my world now, so this space is "mine" for this period. Like, a hotel room is "ours" for the night, and somebody else will clean that up later, type thing. Or somebody who gets arrested, then kicks a hole in the cop car seat while they're sitting there. He wouldn't have access to that wall in any other scenario, but the room is "his" for now? . . .also, graffiti know as "tagging" which is a signature. He might have elevated thinking of himself as some sort of Banksey (sp?) Edit: . . . .side note, "a friend of mine" dated a girl, possible narcissism?(elevated sense of self) In any greeting card she gave, she would also date it somewhere on the card (she was an artist) conceivably for post fame, when those signed pieces became valuable, the exact genre could be verified : ) I get that she would do that with her paintings, but that was bizarre to keep seeing in a birthday card : / weird vibes

Yep, he’s well on the autism spectrum. But at this point it’s like having brown hair.. he’s got it but thats not what made him kill. It does make him honest and odd though 😅

"Sardonic" actually has not etymological association with Sade or sadism. The word comes from a deadly plant that caused something similar to hysterical laughter!
Tonight's episode was particularly interesting for me. In the summer of 2023 all everybody in Vienna would talk about were the 3 murders of homeless people, two men and a woman, as well as the attempted murder of a fourth man, all within a span of 7 weeks. Police could not find the killer. In the beginning of September a 17 year old young adult was temporarily arrested for assaulting his mother while on drugs (cannabis, ketamine, heroin) and later released because his mother refused to press charges. After talking to his lawyer that very same kid went to the police the next day and confessed to the homeless murders. Vienna (Austria) is not exactly a hotbed of murder so the whole Austrian nation was shocked by the young age and the reason he gave: He had felt angry about his parents' divorce and "had always wanted to know what it would feel like to kill a person". He chose homeless people because they were easiest to access. Unlike the US there are no public recordings of the police interviews and the court case would have been private because of his age & right for data protection. Twelve years if memory serves & psychiatric treatment, that's all he got. There was no mention of animal torture, just the drug addiction after his parents divorced. He was described as a nice, friendly & quiet guy...
I promise the kid has issue with his mother and therefore all women. His mother found the head and hands in his room. I think the dad was super passive, the mom was trying to keep under control because she knew he was scary.
Cohee is actually a fascinating character. his openness to talk about his crime is rare. The nerd next door who really did turn out to be a psychopath.
Watching the first clip of part two, and having an adult autistic son, not to mention my late father whom I'm sure was also on the autistic spectrum, I think this kid is a psychopath. When he was young, because of his lack of empathy and other traits that overlap between the two disorders, he was misdiagnosed as autistic. He's reading the face of his interrogator too well. He's getting some things wrong because he doesn't know any better, but his grasp of theory of mind doesn't seem to be one of them.
Greg was right about the quote by Kemper and the girls head. It was almost word for word. Kemper was still alive as of July 2024. He was denied parole then.
Can you guys continue (maybe do an episode on) with the divided consciousness that Chase was on?! That was very interesting and I’d love to hear more about it from you guys!

I would love for you guys to look at the father of Emmare Gervasi, who was recently found after being kidnapped and trafficked. The father, Frank, claims he got an anonymous tip and single-handedly rescued her.
Yes, I saw him yesterday here on TH-cam on the channel Law&Crime network and I can't forget it. He sounds somehow sincere but the story somehow isn't convincing. The circumstances are weird. I would love to see an analysis too
I got "I am in control". So many of his I statements emphasizing the word "deliberately". Ironic, considering he's already under arrest and categorically not the one in control in that room... The investigator did an amazing job letting him continue to feel like he was!
@@samanthaxnicole I picked up the same line, but since he was suggesting that his parents were the weak link in his plan, I thought that without them it was going to be perfect. Hence, he's invincible and if I boil it down to a basic emotional need, I'd say Admiration.
Please can you do an episode or five or six on the claims being made by Ally Carter, Katt Williams and Jaguar Wight. That girl said watch for fires in an interview a few months ago! When I heard just now a thousand orts( animals) were killed it out me all the way over as of last days have not been horrendous enough! Prayers to all affected by the LA fires
The discsussion at the very end was so good. Making it clear that humans do not fit into boxes, we are all so different, you did a great job of explaining that, Mark's bucket theory is very good, Chase's dry sarcasm gets me every time, what a funny guy. Scott, please say Hi to Linda, she is a beaut. Greg, today I noticed for the first time that you have a sword hanging on the wall behind you, big knife for Protection??
Another great episode, guys. I think it's really interesting how his psychopathic traits contrast against his neurodivergent traits. Very very unusual to see these two things collide. For example, he doesn't appear to display pathological lying but lying and deception are very difficult for many neurodivergent people. Because he continuously speaks in very concrete terms, it's not surprising he doesn't lie as that would take nuance and abstract thought. He took forensic countermeasures and attempted to hide his behaviour, but I would honestly not be surprised if when his mom found his murder kit he just said "Yep, it's for murdering people". I think he would have told the police what a clever lie it was he told if he had made something up to explain it even if it wasn't believed (just my opinion). My favourite part was when he said he wasn't like Kemper because Kemper was so big and then later quotes Kemper, clearly demonstrating that he does relate to him. It really shows his blind spot on identifying abstract correlation. My only concerns with psychopath awards is that I hate to honour these guys behaviours, but I would be interested in seeing some or Greg's Wall Street clients get one!
Just for those who did not hear the word well. This suspect is NOT an INTERspecies killer but IS an INTRAspecies killer. INTER means 'between'. In this case, meaning someone who kills between different species. INTRA means 'within' therefore this confessed killer is an INTRAspecies killer, killing within his own species. I would take care to not mislead the public around psychotics being killers. People who are psychotic account for between 5-10 percent of killers. Statistcs show that mentally ill people and psychotic people are more likely and highly likely to be the victims of crime rather than perpetrators.
thank you. I love this team but they have to be very careful to present facts and that's an issue if they wander from their expertise. They have a lot of sway and are spreading a lot of information.
Sometimes I think that Mark is the one who knits the whole group together, as though he is some kind of ephemeral glue. I think of Chase as the intellectual, Scott as the Everyman, Mark as the talent, ; but Greg is the one I'd most like to be interrogated by.😃
Q: can you please do Wayne Williams and Atlanta Child Murders? And the linguistics of psychopathy EG: “the fibre evidence MAY WELL HAVE BEEN manipulated…” 😉 Also talking about himself in the 3rd person .
Your evolving delivery is what i need to stay interested in. Been here from day 1, Mark You are an ultimate gentleman adapting to Scott's impulsivity. This was Brilliant 👏 thanks the behaviour panel. You guys make me laugh every Friday. Keep evolving ✨️ 🎉
I'm with you guys on this is a psychopath. Psychopathy tends to be because of damage to the temporal lobe and the frontal lobe which can often also come with lower IQ, problems with speech, problems with social cues and social norms, no empathy, and violent fantasies/violent impulsive behavior. It can seem a whole lot like autism but it isn't autism. In psychology class, we watched a violent psychopath have a brain surgery removing damage to the temporal lobe of the brain and they were essentially cured of these symptoms, even their iq went up and their speech improved. It can be super hard to spot tell the difference even professionally unless they act out or get the proper brain scans to see. In this case, he acted out and is describing and displaying psychopathic symptoms. This is an interesting one. Thanks for doing this video.
Thank you Greg, Scott, Chase & Mark. This kid is something else! The patience the male Detective has really shows well when he is given a lesson in criminology by the kid so glib , confident, as he moves his pacifier ( water bottle) away from the corner of the table closest to the detective to the far back wall . Parents were on alert for a while. The everyone has thoughts of shooting up their school statement really shows his colors ( psychopath.) IMO I think he is frustrated with females in general. See you next week as always!

Yes, I saw him yesterday here on TH-cam on the channel Law&Crime network and I can't forget it. He sounds somehow sincere but the story somehow isn't convincing. The circumstances are weird. I would love to see an analysis too
i was gonna request this case. spot on
the I statement would be something along the lines of: I am invincible; You would have never caught me, if it were not for my parents.
Jaguar would be interesting
Some awesome insights in here. You four are truly delightful. Sharpest guys in true crime.
We read The Prince in political Science course in college. The professor loved it.
I find the “concealed I am” fascinating Chase! I’m pretty excited to put this one into practice this week.
Scott sticking up for Dexter! Yes!
Thanks for the great show today. I really enjoyed it.
I think about the comment "Chase Tan-Daddy" all the time. It holds up. 😂
Why do you think his parents were going through his things? They obviously did not trust him.
I wouldn’t sleep a wink in that house, I can’t imagine the stress and emotional turmoil of watching this happen to your baby boy.
Brian is one, super scarey dude. He seems to value his Ford car more than human life.
Hey panel, woohoo to 1M!
This is a fantastic episode👍👏soooo useful
I really enjoyed how you guys brainstormed and unpacked his behavior in this video. Thank you
Mark, thank you for going into such detail. It has helped me prepare for providing mental health therapy interventions
Sometimes I think that Mark is the one who knits the whole group together, as though he is some kind of ephemeral glue. I think of Chase as the intellectual, Scott as the Everyman, Mark as the talent, ; but Greg is the one I'd most like to be interrogated by.😃
Can you please do a Gavin Newsome read. Any of his recent wild fire hand jive stuff.
And the shimmy.
@@courtneycampden-main7133 ???
Q: can you please do Wayne Williams and Atlanta Child Murders?
And the linguistics of psychopathy
EG: “the fibre evidence MAY WELL HAVE BEEN manipulated…” 😉
Also talking about himself in the 3rd person .
Yeah, new episode tomorrow 😃👍🫶
Your evolving delivery is what i need to stay interested in. Been here from day 1, Mark You are an ultimate gentleman adapting to Scott's impulsivity. This was Brilliant 👏 thanks the behaviour panel. You guys make me laugh every Friday. Keep evolving ✨️ 🎉
Extraordinary insights, as always. But I must say, my favorite part of the whole thing was hearing Mark say, “squirrel.”
I love an unexpected squirrel - Hi, Linda!
About to start watching the video, but first, thanks for using a dyslexia-friendly font in the PDF. : )
Whoa! this two-parter was Awesome; learned A lot and enjoyed the analysis immensely gentlemen 😍
I absolutely love yalls channel ! Love from Oklahoma❤
I really enjoy your videos keep em coming 😊
The Black Adder was great!
That's what the current medications are supposed to do, replace lobotomy. Scary.
Marks face is lovely Chase!
No offense..but we are all here to see Linda 😂
☝️
Thank you Greg, Scott, Chase & Mark.
This kid is something else!
The patience the male Detective has really shows well when he is given a lesson in criminology by the kid so glib , confident, as he moves his pacifier ( water bottle) away from the corner of the table closest to the detective to the far back wall . Parents were on alert for a while.
The everyone has thoughts of shooting up their school statement really shows his colors ( psychopath.) IMO I think he is frustrated with females in general.
See you next week as always!
Excellent show
One of the very best all round . Good to see everyone on form.
I listened to it whilst driving , didnt get to scrutinize the body language of that pschopath... But i got the lowdown from the experts , thanks for a great show, to all 4.
So long as nobody is slapped at the award ceremony
I've just finished watching about this guy, now straight onto you guys! Talk about timing! 😊😊😊thanku guys. ❤️ 🎉
He is a scary wee thing.🤬 You'd think his parents would do better than ground him, after finding a murder kit 😳 Unreal!!!!
"We do it when we're on stage!"
-Greg Hartley. Love you guys!
Chase - would love a video on the divided consciousness and also how to bring them into alignment.
