We took a guided tour (a very small part) of the WWII tunnels a couple of years ago too. It really is the most impressive place. My father spent some time in them during WWII. A great video and thanks for the reminder.
I had a disagreement with the Guide when i did this tour in 2008 ! He stated in his speech at the beginning ,before we went up to the Jock's Gallery . " Gibraltar was never bombed by Axis bombers during WW2 ! I said at the end of the Tour " ! I disagree with what you said at the beginning , Vichy French Air Force bombers ( under orders from Germany ) flew over from North Africa and attempted to bomb Gibraltar and the Rock on at least three occasions!! But were so startled by the ferocity of the Anti- aircraft fire they failed to press the attacks home and bottled it , with most dropping their bombs early and short of their targets ,into sea and turning back to Africa very quickly ! He wasn't happy !
