BIGBANG disillusioned us right from the start. They told us that they will get married when the time comes and we fans can't stop them. Seungri has always felt he isn’t as talented as the other members, so he took upon himself to learn many languages, & he acts as the group spokesperson most of the time. He is BIGBANG’s & VIPs happy pill. GD is at his happiest when Seungri is around. When GD had writer’s block, he credited just having Seungri around him to help him complete the MADE album. Seungri is the member who was most active on social media, always keeping VIPs informed. I can’t wait until his trial & military service is over & BIGBANG makes a comeback. It’s been so boring without them. BIGBANG makes everyone step up their game when they are active.
I gotta say, Taeyang is probably the first Kpop Idol who hasn't really gotten any backlash after announcing he'd get married. Not that many Kpop Idols are married but those who are usually get quite a lot of hate from immature fans and sasaengs. In Taeyang's case, everyone was very quick to congratulate him and wish him the best which i think shows how mature Bigbang's fanbase is. Him and Hyorin had been dating since 2014 and despite keeping their Relationship rather quiet and away from the public eye, they were pretty quick to admit their relationship so i think them being honest and not denying anything also helped with that. Another thing that i gotta say here is that both Taeyang and Hyorin are both very much loved in the Korean Entertainment industry and among the general public so hardcore fans probably found it easier to be supportive of their relationship. I think that's also part of the reason he looked so free and happy there bcuz he didn't feel like there were thousands of fans hating on the fact that he had gotten married.

He has also acted in musicals, dramas and movies and he also learned how to DJ and was learning jiu-jitsu (basically every time he has a new interest, he really tries to learn it well). Daesung has also acted in a musical and a drama and is really good in variety shows. Also, Taeyang was a child actor for a bit and insisted to train at YG after he was casted for a music video for Jinusean (1st gen duo from YG)

There is this marketing strategy from companies to present the group as girlfriend / boyfriend of the fandom . Idols are expected to live for their fans . You will see many groups dont even have girls în ther MVs . It sells albums and merch . Some people act like if they bought stuff they own the idols and have a right to control their lifes BigBang never did that . Taeyang always sung about love , he is religious, fans always knew he wants a family . His wife is such nice girl too that a lightning would strike you if you say something bad . That being said we have toxic people too . When I got into them there were rumors TOP was dating this chinese girl and she got death threats. A few years back a model , designer friend of GD complained of nasty messages from people who believed she is dating GD. That being said VIP didnt had negative reactions at the articles claming recently that GD and BlackPink Jenie are dating. Honestly I dont think many believe is true . Now all members are over 30 so I think anyone realises it relationships are to be expected.
