Out of all these comedies, the ones I have on DVD (and 1 Blu ray) are : Open All Hours (BBC), Only Fools and Horses (BBC, but it's the boxset that doesn't have the Christmas Specials), Bottom (BBC), One Foot in the Grave (BBC), Bottom (BBC), Fawlty Towers (BBC, but it's the Blu Ray re release from 2019), Auf Wiedersehen Pet (the 2 ITV series only) and The Inbetweeners (Channel 4/E4). Also, I know you don't have it but Father Ted (Channel 4), Outnumbered (BBC) and Gavin and Stacey (BBC) are three other great comedies as well, cool collection btw!
Great idea Big Chris, something different, you can't beat the classics like "Some mothers do have em" "Steptoe & son" "On the buses" & "Only fools & horses" were my favourites & after watching this video I might have to get for my collection, Chris do you remember "Mind your language" which was London weekend television production & screened on ITV show, very funny show until it was stopped for being incorrect & offensive. A excellent video buddy 👍
Eastwood4life fan I remember that I think lol I forgot to show one called plasma patrol an itv show with cannon and ball playing security gaudy in a shopping mall got it on bootleg as never been on any format
Chris, if you have Bottom, then I highly recommend The Young Ones, as Rik Mayall and Ade Edmonson are both in it. It's very similar to Bottom, but they are younger and at uni. All the violence is still there. Also I recommend Man About the House, which feature the Ropers in as Landlords of flats, this is before George and Mildred.
hi kallum i had the young ones on dvd from the bbc but they had the music part cut out. i do belive the complete set has them uncut but the ones i had were allcut out . i got them on vhs somewhere.lol
Just a little back ground, I'm an American so my exposure is limited. Still, I probly have the largest private Brit comedy collection in the states. So, I did actually find this video useful.
I have not got them two if their BBC comedy's some have never been on dvd like all night long, all along the watchtower. Search Google for them as their are ppl who make their own dvds that's how I got the Peter principle thanks for looking
My Family (BBC) is another great comedy as well
Awesome comedy same of my favourites
My dad loves On the Buses

The BBC released a boxset of The Young Ones in 2007, this 3-disc set featured all 12 episodes complete and uncut with no edits plus extras.
I got that DVD for Xmas 2020
I'm looking for 'Langley bottom'. Have you seen this anywhere! Also I'm looking for ' high and dry'. Let me know if you have any tips.
