Ahhhhh you guys should check out Montreal!! ❤️It’s all the good points you mentioned without the negative ones! The metro is super clean and it’s a joy to travel! So intercultural and so many festivals, picnic culture and French culture and language everywhere! Much more reasonable pricing as well.. just an option!
As a Latina living in Paris, I can just agree about all the points. The pickpockets are the worst! But in a positive note, just walking around the city is an amazing experience. All the small streets and hidden monuments. It just breathtaking. Prices are high because the m2 inside the Paris area is super expensive. Imagine paying just 5k€ monthly for rent (as a small business). Your selling prices will be elevated to keep afloat. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the city. The first year is the best. Then, well... you will become a parisien o leave 😂
I speak from experience: (I work in a brasserie) tips are never included. Half the people tip (usually a few euros) and the other half don't tip at all, so it's really up to the customer whether or not to tip 👍
You’re “beautiful wife”? OMG when did y’all get married?😱😭🙌🏼💕🩷💕 This video is the first notification I’ve gotten from y’all in a long time. I’m so happy for you both. Congratulations!💍🎉
I just went there with my parents (it was their first time) and I booked close to the center so we wouldn't have to take the metro cause it was what I hated last time I went, so freaking stinky it broke my glass but I'm glad my parents didn't have to go through that because they absolutely loved it
Hi guys, i’m a german living in france since my first year on earth. I can tell you that the tips are NOT included. Wish you an amazing stay, and if you guys wants to come one day to Strasbourg, it would be a pleasure for me to show you the city
My husband and I visited Paris for only a week in 2017 but I fell madly in love with it. Like all large cities, it definitely has its faults, but it was the most beautiful and visually interesting city I’ve ever been to. ❤
Depende!
I haven't been to Paris since the mid 1980s, but it's one of of a very limited number of cities where I simply would NOT drive, period. We used to joke about periodically looking behind ourselves on the sidewalk to make sure we weren't going to be come the hood ornament on a Citroen! I also remember being repeatedly warned about pickpockets and gypsies -- warnings we sort of ignored until a small group (5-6) of gypsy kids tried mugging my mother in the middle of a crowded Metro car between stations. (This was a couple of weeks after I'd visited Paris with a friend, and I could hear -- but couldn't stop -- someone fooling with the zippers on my backpack in the Metro. Luckily they were literally just playing with them, nothing was taken -- but, still...) After that, we kept our eyes open a little extra & took steps to make our wallets & other crime attractants less obvious and we never had a problem. I still hope to go back (several times)....
Janik, I live in Germany, and I love it, really BUT… the subway (Frankfurt) and the trains smell horrible, I think that the Germans don’t notice the smell

I loved London a lot more than Paris. Paris had too many smokers, scammers, and dirty streets. People are not the warmest either.
Same experience here ✌🏼
Yessss
ok bye !
@@sandrab3406 just stating my opinion.. so rude.. oh wait you’re probably just French 😂😂😂

Hygiene products are very expensive and public transport stinks of sweat.
I guess that's not a coincidence.
Gotta cut corners somewhere #inflation 🤓
Ha!

We were in Germany recently (from the USA) and we were shocked at how inexpensive the groceries were.

visited Paris back in 2018 & got engaged there :) loved it! miss the pastries and baguettes xD did not encounter any rude people, luckily.

As someone married to a Parisian, we're having our honey moon in Madagascar 🥰. Haha architecture is beautiful, but not sure how romantic it is...
Lol and if you think Paris is expensive, go to the South. I live in Nice and a drink in a beach club is 30 euros

Agreed. all the way. It's better when you don't have to be on guard all the time. Like the fake bills in Buenos Aires. Paris is a fabulous city.
Have a great time, I love your videos so much💙

Cars only stop at crossroads in Germany 😅 In Ireland the crossings are also not respected
pickpokets : even the metro announcement says it or in train stations.
All the best! 🎉 bisou!!! The best couple ever! Good vibes ❤

The picnic true but because the weather is better there than in Mexico, and with more green spaces 😅😢😢🙌🏽

I hate salads outside at home, so expensive everywhere. In México at least 6 Euros ($100 pesos) for a salad.
Barcelona is the best option, or Valencia
Barcelona has way more pickpockets than Paris.
How tall are you both?
Are there still riots going on in Paris / Nanterre ?
Not much really
Do you guys speak French?
Janik, I live in Germany, and I love it, really BUT… the subway (Frankfurt) and the trains smell horrible, I think that the Germans don’t notice the smell
I didn’t think the U-Bahn in Berlin smelled bad.
Paris is paradise at night.
I live in Hamburg and i have realized that 99% of the times i take the S-bahn, U-bahn, bus... smells like hell, armpit, ass, sweat... :)
My grandparents could have warned you about the women in the windows of Paris, sorry I didn’t tell you in time, it can be quite the culture shock
Red Lights in France are just a Recommendation, not a Command...😉😁🤣
I was in Paris for my birthday in March ,they stole my staffs from the hotel. I like Paris the city but not the people.
they were tourists
So the French don't bathe or is it because they're protesting the rising cost of hygiene products?
Either way, sounds like a nightmare 😱
How can joss be annoyed by the noise pollution as a Mexican ?! 🫠🫠🫠
