You didnt realy answer the question on do you use Aversives in training the protection sports
no mate I don't.
@@SoCS I would love to see how you deal with some problems that come with bite sports example after a bite you out dog and dog dose a re bite or a long chase bite then a long call off and dog still fights the decoy. And do you worry that your dog mite not be conditioned for a real protection situation or if was a police dog that will stay in the fight if hasn’t been exposed to certain types of physical situations
@@dannykay402 this is Mondioring. I’m not teaching him to be a protection dog or police dog. I would actively put context into place to prevent that.
Obviously each problem comes with its own challenges.
@@SoCS I am interested in seeing how you would deal with some of the problems because more people want to do dog sports but people don’t like some of the training methods that would used in training serious protection dogs an police dogs and guard dogs so seeing how to combat problems for the more sport only dogs is something interested in seeing if it’s possibly
@@dannykay402 I would love to say yea to that but the reality is that I’m neck deep in filming for the third year of our behaviour course. who knows maybe we will do a step by step tutorial in the future 🤷
