Dundee United! My late Dad used to live in Dundee back in the 50's. I've never been to Scotland, would love to visit, bit of family nostalgia.

I was a member of a links for 6 year's. Took me another 6 to get the ball up in the air when I went parkland. Really enjoyed that one brought back memories of my 60 yard Texas wedges. 🤗

I have been following Dundee United since 1964 when they signed th five Scandanavians. Still a season ticket holder. And used to play once a year at Monifieth in a charity day. And on Ashludie on Saturday!

I would like to see you and Peter play here too, but it was fun watching you and Lee. Class. Liam, we notice how you always grab everyone's divots and tees and the rest. Don't think we don't. You can self efface all you want but you treat everyone around you with respect...and that is why I am a Golfmate

Thanks for bringing so many great courses to the golfmates. That was really cool that there was a reference to "our own OMP". I play occasionally with a group of elderly guys who have their own league called the legends league and my friend Chuck Taylor (yes he's heard the shoe joke for decades) is what I'd consider this area's OMP. Solid player, class act, fairway finder, and kicks my 51 year old butt on a consistent basis. Golfmates is such a great channel. You go beyond just promoting the game of golf and really put an emphasis on enjoying the game with friends. I think you've made a lot of people put the game in that perspective. And it's much appreciated.
What a lovely guy, forward thinking golf player, course knowledge is key.

Liam if you want to see big Gorse come to New Zealand, If we try to grow it like they do in Scotland it would be all over the course. When it was imported here by the early Europeans they tried to grow it as Hedges, but it took off and now its a noxious weed.
