    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course you can fly with 3s. It will offer less power, you can increase head speed and still fly and get a good flight time. The esc for this helicopter is rated for 2S to 4S batteries and new V4 ESC can take 6S battery. So if you have a new V4 ESC you can even fly with 6S battery for increased power but motor will heat up a lot

      We have left China for good. we were forced to leave by government immigration. they refused to give me visa and told me in my face that we have to leave now. and that people like us are not welcome anymore. WOW. how wonderful. I had to sell everything with in a month or two and leave with my family. but i am happy, that i have left that sick surveillance state and now we are in a free country, we are happy that we made the move. restrictions on our lives were only constantly increasing in China. living was getting difficult day by day there. we are not the only one. 100s and thousands of foreigners have left. business gone, food, business and night streets that once used to be crowded by foreigners before, now are empty in many major cities of China. no idea why they are forcing foreigners out.

    Hi Ali. Loooong video, but necessary. Have you concidered adding a FS-CVT01 voltage sensor to the heli. It is like 'made for' the FS-iA6B receiver plugs into the sensor port (but you know all this already). The FS-i6s will show the battery voltage and you can set the alarm for low battery voltage. Forgive me if you know all this already, but didn't want to use it for this demo. Thanks and happy flying, demoing etc.

    FlyWing be like "yeah with all this empty space inside, we COULD add an interior fan and ventilate the electronics but then it would only be able to fly for 27 and a half minutes!"
    😂 Still, very nice model. What is that, a 300 size? You know you can trust the GPS when you walk up to a pretty sizeable helicopter in flight and feel for vibration. And it's nice to see it just figure-8ing away in the background. If only I had £550 to throw away!

    Ali, love watching Huey UH-1 fly low and so glad to see improvements. I have been enjoying 450L V3! One of best machines I have. On the new removable metal blade grips, I noticed the geometry is slightly different than the plastic grips. My plastic grips are phenomenal, both sides 0.03* at 1/2 stick with digital pitch gauge. The removable metal grips have slight positive pitch...as indicated by tic marks and digital pitch gauge. I am sure this can be rememedy by adjusting in 1.9 SW, but wanted to see if you noticed the same thing as well? Please let me know.

    I just got my huey v3 delivered . After getting a solid green on the gps light, i flew in gps fir a few mins fine. It all the sudden shot up 20 ft and stopped and just hovered. I moved the stick to desend and it wouldnt till i switched to home. And even then it didnt land home. It just kanded straight down. From that point. It did this twice. I noticed the gps light was flashing green and not solid anymore . I put it away fir the day cause i didnt want to crash it. Why do you think it would do that? Also it seems to ve shaking alit till it gets to full rotor speed unlike all the vids ive seen on this helicopter. Seem to start and wind up alot smoother than mine. Any advise ? id be greatful.

    Hello Ali, is there any reason why you don't fly the TX16S?

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. I use flysky radio for flywing helicopters is mainly because of its ease of programming for FlyWing H1 lite based helicopters and spring loaded throttle that is best option for altitude hold on GPS helis.
      2. recently been having disconnection issues and glitches during flight with TX16s on different helicopters.
      3. Using Futaba for 3D helicopters is mainly because i use same radio on flight simulator to practice and then flying 3d on 3d helicopters outdoors with same radio keeps me in sync.
      given the above, want to add that non opentx radios are easier to program and use.
      i will use TX16s for Quads / FPV Racing drones and mini rc airplanes or FPV Aircraft that require me to use TBS Crossfire or other long range modules.

    How many flights on these batteries before they internaly fail. Give an estimation of two conditions, used properly as opposed to abused like your flight.

    • @alishanmao
      @alishanmao  ปีที่แล้ว

      normally you can use them pretty long if you take good care of them and make sure not to drain them to voltages like i did in this video. you should set low voltage alarm or failsafe to 3.5volts. thats best voltage to land. and keeps battery safe.
      when batteries start swelling up, you can use them a bit more, but if swelling grows, and or charging is not good, cells do not hold capacity too long, they discharge quick, its time to discard them properly. I do have a 4S 5000mAh swollen battery that still gives me 20+ minutes of flight time. now mostly i do not use it for flights but use it to power my chargers in the field and charge smaller batteries.
      To discard the batteries, make sure to use a professional charger and choose the option in discharge menus called destroy. it will suck all the juice out of battery cells.
      then cut and seal the wires.
      discard properly following the recycling rules.
