2001 I went to a Honda dealer,to buy and an accord v6 top of the of line and I saw The NSX. I went in it was beautiful;at that time did not have an idea how expensive it was, till I asked…well it was out my league, but I can’t forget that yellow piece of metal!
BRO you gotta paint it Honda's Fiji Blue. Absolute stunner of a paint color, goes great with bronze wheels, and I love it when people keep in the same car brand/family for the OEM+ vibes 👌 Love the build!
I really love that you found a car that was dying or died and you are resurrecting it. I have pretty much been doing the same thing but with run of the male Volkswagens, the MK fours diesels and 1.8 just a couple respect keep on doing it and I’ll be watching and supporting you.
Silica brass in bronze TE’s would looks so sick!!! Also if you want to do red I would recommend doing like a McLaren volcano red so it’s a deep metallic unlike the regular red that came factory on the nsx, but wheels definitely should go with the special Te’s or some advan GT’s
the colour itself looks awesome - but would have little contrast with the tan interieur to avoid green, red or black mabe some shade of blue (even frozen types to get the satin feel) on the outside to not have it gobble up the body lines and still have some nice contrast with the interieur
After looking at pictures of both TE37s and Regamasters, I agree with you. I think 5 spokes look better on the NSX, regardless of the color selection. Plus Regamasters are a lot less overplayed than TE37s
TE37s would look great. Nothing wrong with going with a classic. Got em on my poor man's Porsche, or also the poor poor man's NSX, MR2 Spyder. Loving this build TJ! It's how most of us would get into these high end JDM cars now. Gotta put work in!
I love that this series so far is just a standard restoration and bringing it back to life, as opposed to making it this pristine super expensive show car. I hope it continues to stay this way, because all the crazy wide body bags super car stuff is just too unrelatable. Obviously the NSX is still a rare and expensive car, but at least the type of work being done on it is more similar to the kind of restoration a normal person would do in their garage. Keep up this kind of content.
Ive always loved the Aspen White Pearl Glow that came on the 90s Nissans and pairing that up with the Te37s or even a thinner spoke wheel like the Ferrada FR4 would be mint, personally I would love to see the FR4 over the TE's just because the 5-6 spokes in general have been a mainstay on the NSX and I would love to see you experiment with different styles on urs
Engine sounded healthy on first start-up! Good work. That dark green is low-key kinda nice but if you do red, do like a dark red, not Ferrari Red. Would be a nice contrast with the interior.
I've was a big fan of how you made the GTR an OEM+ build, you could probably do the same for the NSX. Maybe a "Spa Yellow Pearl" or a "Monte Carlo Blue Pearl" from the first gen NSX, or maybe even "Nouvelle Blue Pearl" or a "Nord Grey Metallic" from the second en NSX. But if you want a red the "Valencia Red Pearl" from the second gen NSX would be amazing
that green color is a great looking color. my aunt had a 94 honda accord in green and buffed out the metallic in the sun brings it out like crazy... cant go wrong
I love acura nsx but the best color I’ve seen on it was a metallic steel grey with black accents and a grey hood but with a black scoop and mirror black scoop on roof and side skirts and everything black looked so so good
A pearl white paint with concave staggered gold w/ polished lip TE37's with royal blue calipers and accents would be 🔥Love this project keep up the good work!
Would love to see an exotic material inside like replacing everything tan with black alcantara and black carpet. Or even making the tan a step up from oem. Never see OEM+++ that often on 90s cars and could look killer.
I disagree. It's been really nice to see TJ just do a normal near OEM restoration for once. IMO he always goes way too over the top with his builds and it's just not very relatable to the average person. I'm tired of seeing wide body and bags and custom paint and super built highly expensive stuff. Just get it back to normal and enjoy it for what it is.
I think a dark wine red with bronze or gold wheels would suit this one well. TEs would work, but I think you could find a better option. Looking great though Teej!
You should paint it Phoenix Yellow after the Integra Type R. I can recall the last time I ever saw a yellow NSX, it would for sure stand out of all the red NSXs out there. I hope everyone feels the same way.
Bro you can ask for peoples opinions on color and wheels but at least for me 50% of why I watch this channel is you and your boys reaction to your own builds.
Paint the NSX the same deep metallic red from Mazda that you painted Selena wayyy back in the day (RIP Selena) that way you could have it red, but it’d look soooo much better and not basic like every other red NSX!!
There is a beautiful red that TVR made and used on the Sagaris that looks like a liquid sunset. It goes from fire red to a gorgeous burnt orange color.
I think red is probably the best color option for that car but I think maybe you pick out your own special red color rather than using the factory paint code. Just to make it your own a little bit more. Also don’t forget that supercharger!!!
hopefully you guys cleared over the brake calipers after wire wheeling them, or else they gonna be solid rust soon. lovin this build and cant wait to see this finished product
TJ im loving these recent videos especially with the NSX. Loving seeing you go back to what makes your channel great. ……….you mentioned projects we would like to see. Now that they are over 25 years, i would love to see you do a Nissan Pulsar GTIR if feesable. I dont know any channel in the states that has done one. Also it maybe not something you would entertain. (Although you do have a porche and owned an R8) id love to see you do another Audi. Like an RS3 maybe. But a sportsback (as everyone does sedans in the US)
7:59 the cut to the big *SIGH* and then “Ian did it” had me dead lmaoo I know how frustrating it is to struggle with something and then someone comes up and does it with ease lmaoo. Shout out IAN
Imo I think Sebring silver would look dope!! Maybe add a little more flake or pearl to it to make it pop more in the sun. Gives a lot of color options for wheels too. Black, grey, brushed, chrome. Plus I don’t think I’ve seen a silver car from you
Work VSXX’s are a really clean look on NSX I think they keep it simple but add a low key flair. A polished lip with brushed faces or even gold faces would really complement red paint.
Go with a dark primer, 3 coats of Milano red and 3 coats of clear with little bit of flake and some bronze te37’s or if you want to POP…. Dark primer, 2 coats candy brandy wine with 2 shades of clear mixed in with flakes and some white TE37’s
Because you like the red, I too have seen a few of the red NSX's out there but never a metallic red, so was thinking as an update to take it to the "Soul Red Premium Metallic" that Mazda uses. I haven't seen many cars with that on them, but the ones that I have seen they look awesome.
I get TJ wanting to go with red but I'm more partial to greens any way, not the dark forest green but something lighter and creamy looking. I have a 1963 MB 220Sb that's Sea-Foam Green and love it but always wondered what that color would look like with a tiny bit of pearl added on a newer car. Tighter multi-spoke wheels would look great on the NSX IMO.

I know that sounds stupid but throw it in a program and see what it looks like. Play with the colors a bit. Maybe orange or purple rims. I think that would look absolutely wild, but if done right it could look lowkey amazing.
Keep it oem! I've personally never seen a green one. They are always black, white, or red... Yes white is iconic but the green is different and can be really cool.
You better clean up that paint on the wall before you move out.
Are you taking over his space as well?
Hey don't tell TJ what to do!
@@Bwilson-31 yes
😂😂😂😂😂
do the car red but crazy red like zbr red hypershift color ;) red to black
Championship white on the NSX with polished/mag blue TE37s would be THE spec, that's it. You gotta make it happen!
YYEESSSS!!!!
For sure tj do it
Also please get that tan repolstered to either black alcantara or normal leather, looks so dated.
Most boring shit ever, sure it looks good, but thats everyone wants and have
Mugen MF10 > Te37s
White NSXs with the gloss black roof are always clean and throw the TEs on it!
Can you get any more cliche 🤣 I agree tho always clean
AGREED, altho maybe red nsx with gloss black roof in my opinion, nsx is like a ferrari you either paint it red or red
A dark candy red would look pretty sick
dark dark blood red with sky blue pearl flake
I think Imola Orange - Pearlescent, would look nice.
2001 I went to a Honda dealer,to buy and an accord v6 top of the of line and I saw The NSX. I went in it was beautiful;at that time did not have an idea how expensive it was, till I asked…well it was out my league, but I can’t forget that yellow piece of metal!
Nsx in like a nice metallic sapphire blue would look amazing imo.
Exactly what i was thinking
The stock yellow would be sick!
Indi Yellow Pearl II
Some sort of yellow +1
Yes
Phoenix yellow would be a good option too
i was gonna say that >:(
that with some rpf1s
BRO you gotta paint it Honda's Fiji Blue. Absolute stunner of a paint color, goes great with bronze wheels, and I love it when people keep in the same car brand/family for the OEM+ vibes 👌 Love the build!
Fiji blue 😮💨👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
lexus structural blue would be stellar 🤩
I really love that you found a car that was dying or died and you are resurrecting it. I have pretty much been doing the same thing but with run of the male Volkswagens, the MK fours diesels and 1.8 just a couple respect keep on doing it and I’ll be watching and supporting you.

Go with the TE37s
Ewww
Agreed. Silica Brass would go soo good.
Gold wheels goes NICE with candy red if you wanna go hotboy with it.. LOL
Silica Brass with White Desmond Regamasters would look amazing!
the colour itself looks awesome - but would have little contrast with the tan interieur
to avoid green, red or black
mabe some shade of blue (even frozen types to get the satin feel) on the outside to not have it gobble up the body lines and still have some nice contrast with the interieur
After looking at pictures of both TE37s and Regamasters, I agree with you. I think 5 spokes look better on the NSX, regardless of the color selection. Plus Regamasters are a lot less overplayed than TE37s
a sky blue with the tan interior and work meisters would go hard on the nsx and is different from your normal style
Totally for the TE's and true, you do see a lot of red NSX's but it's your car so I say if you have a particular red in mind then go for it!
TE37s would look great. Nothing wrong with going with a classic. Got em on my poor man's Porsche, or also the poor poor man's NSX, MR2 Spyder. Loving this build TJ! It's how most of us would get into these high end JDM cars now. Gotta put work in!
TE’s all the way, Teej! The entire time the NSX has been shown, all I could think is how sick a set of TEs would look.
So basic
So clean and a hero for that era in JDMs
I love that this series so far is just a standard restoration and bringing it back to life, as opposed to making it this pristine super expensive show car. I hope it continues to stay this way, because all the crazy wide body bags super car stuff is just too unrelatable. Obviously the NSX is still a rare and expensive car, but at least the type of work being done on it is more similar to the kind of restoration a normal person would do in their garage. That R34 champagne color is dope!!! It screams for copper colored rims too.
House of Kolor Brandywine Kandy, LOOOOOVED it on my soarer and always thought an Nsx would look NUTS in that color
TJ’s face when the motor started off the rip says it all. It’s a HONDA 😂
They know how to truly make motors!
9:26 One of the rarest NSX colors is "Long Beach Blue". Would work well with this interior. I think it would also look great in "Thermal Orange Pearl"
I have never seen or heard of the colour Silica Brass, but it looks freaking awesome. The NSX would look so clean in that.
Engine sounded healthy on first start-up! Good work. That dark green is low-key kinda nice but if you do red, do like a dark red, not Ferrari Red. Would be a nice contrast with the interior.
I think he should paint it the rare midnight purple pearl that it was offered in, add another midnight purple to his midnight purple collection
ayrton had 3 nsxs….. 2 blacks and 1 red. i don’t like a red unless a tribute but tj will blow the car out once it’s recovered so probz not the move
People saying you pay to much for that nsx is crazy because you got good deal..nice car
Can’t believe I’ve been here for 9 years. Loved every bit of your content and watch the team grow over the year proud of your progression
that green color is a great looking color. my aunt had a 94 honda accord in green and buffed out the metallic in the sun brings it out like crazy... cant go wrong
I think the te37s will definitely look amazing on the NSX, especially if they do have the concave in the front as well.
I love acura nsx but the best color I’ve seen on it was a metallic steel grey with black accents and a grey hood but with a black scoop and mirror black scoop on roof and side skirts and everything black looked so so good
I like Dylan's Attention to detail, great job!
A pearl white paint with concave staggered gold w/ polished lip TE37's with royal blue calipers and accents would be 🔥Love this project keep up the good work!
I love this suggestion.
I second this
That dark green is sweet. From what I remember, it was only offered a couple years and there weren't a lot of takers. Very rare color combo.
I wonder why that is. lol
That color belongs on a Honda Accord.
my first car EK hatch was that same color.
Keep the green! Add a stealth ppf to make the green satin finish. Put gold or bronze wheels on it. It’ll be perfect
love the diy vibe with this build series, with the spray paint and carpet feels just a little more homey and relaxed
Silver looks amazing on NSX’s
Would love to see an exotic material inside like replacing everything tan with black alcantara and black carpet. Or even making the tan a step up from oem. Never see OEM+++ that often on 90s cars and could look killer.
Like any other basic build, black alcantara…
Some tan leather recaro LS would look hot.
@@joseacuna3239right, every single car now has alcantera
Alcantara is shit. That would be a real downgrade.
NSX Yellow IMO are the best looking ones out there and Definitely the NSX TE37s
The nsx deserves so much more than just a Craigslist rebuild, I hope this is just the first stage
Bro I need a longer video of from this build it’s like 90s tv all over again got to wait a week to watch another episode ya killing me bro
I think a dark wine red with bronze or gold wheels would suit this one well. TEs would work, but I think you could find a better option. Looking great though Teej!
Porsche 933 turbo Arena Red
Silica brass goes hard!!
Then add a set of 37’s.. maybe a goldish color
Those concaved TE’s would look 🔥 on the NsX! Also can never go wrong with a red NsX. That or white would be 👌🏾
Yes this!
The current green color looks great!
Been watching you for 14 years now man and you never disappoint. Love from Jamaica 🇯🇲!!
You should paint it Phoenix Yellow after the Integra Type R. I can recall the last time I ever saw a yellow NSX, it would for sure stand out of all the red NSXs out there. I hope everyone feels the same way.
A white and gloss black roof will surely look good on the NSX! I think a black regamaster evo would really add up to the looks too!
Love this build and the way you are approaching it!! I would love to see you fit Recaro Pole Positions like the NSX-R had.
Miami blue NXS with the tan interior is gonna be just .... *Dylan's chef kiss*
Bro you can ask for peoples opinions on color and wheels but at least for me 50% of why I watch this channel is you and your boys reaction to your own builds.
Brookland green I think that is? Keep it, it's rare and looks awesome. With some bronze or gunmetal wheels it would look perfect.
10:00 3m Black Rose!!! + golden or bronze wheels would fit PERFECTLY!!!!
That would be awesome!"!!!
And golden TEs yea you are right!!!
Paint the NSX the same deep metallic red from Mazda that you painted Selena wayyy back in the day (RIP Selena) that way you could have it red, but it’d look soooo much better and not basic like every other red NSX!!
Then top it off with bronze TEs🤌🤌
Mazda soul red 🤌
A nice metalic blue. It will match well with the interior.
There is a beautiful red that TVR made and used on the Sagaris that looks like a liquid sunset. It goes from fire red to a gorgeous burnt orange color.
A set of Blitz 03 on the NSX would look crazy!! 🔥
You need to paint the NSX Mica Purple!
midnight purple would look sick and bronze rims plus the tan interior would look good
Red with the TE’s would go hard 🔥
I actually love the green and think it would look great with a proper touch up.
Brooklands green is peak
TE37 W in bronze or gold would be fire depending on what color you paint it! Deep blue would be cool to be different even though TJ hates blue lol
White NSX, gloss black roof, on bronze TE’s 🔥
Mazda Soul Red would look sick! ROTA HM3s would look good with this car.
if he is going to paint it red, this is the way to go
Did you just suggest he put reps on an NSX? Disgusting
Before seeing this comment I commented the exact thing. Soul crystal red would look amazing
Love the original color. I’d keep the color and go for a wheel that was typical of the era, like hre 305 or Regamaster.
I think red is probably the best color option for that car but I think maybe you pick out your own special red color rather than using the factory paint code. Just to make it your own a little bit more. Also don’t forget that supercharger!!!
So clutch you're doing this rn! I plan on building an NSX soon and needed a series like this!
hopefully you guys cleared over the brake calipers after wire wheeling them, or else they gonna be solid rust soon. lovin this build and cant wait to see this finished product
They aren’t steel, they’re aluminium
@@Rekoyl116 ah sick, well that works out better for sure. prolly still would help to clear them just to help keep them looking clean
A deep, blood red would look sick on the nsx 💯
A purple NSX would look sick
Phoenix Yellow would look clean! With Black TE37 SL oofft!
Dark red, maybe even matte finish, with the bronze-ish TE37s 👌
Midnight purple, chrome TE’s to tie it all in 🔥🔥
Polished/brushed TE’s all the way💯
That champagne color would look sick and work with the interior just fine
TJ im loving these recent videos especially with the NSX. Loving seeing you go back to what makes your channel great. ……….you mentioned projects we would like to see.

Great work on the nsx! Love seeing the restoration work you've been doing!
I saw a sample the other day from a friend, a really dark red, allmost black, with a red wine metalic flake. Looks amazing in the sun
That champagne/tan paint job would look sick asf! Do that! Red is just typical stand out bro
Teej….. Imola Orange Pearl for the nsx is the way to go! Put some white TE37’s under it and it will look phenomenal!
Appriciate all the collective love the puts into restoring these amazing machines, keeping automotive nostalgia on the road for the next generation!
Te37 everything!
7:59 the cut to the big *SIGH* and then “Ian did it” had me dead lmaoo I know how frustrating it is to struggle with something and then someone comes up and does it with ease lmaoo. Shout out IAN

Dark money green with peanut butter interior will look great. But i seen a gun metal gray NSX and it looked amazing.
Love the NSX…….one of my favourite cars growing up
TE 37s on everything!!!!! And my vote on a color would be that eg SI civic “purple/blue” color.
Like a gray-silver color on bronze wheels... Would go hard. Love the nsx videos man!!! Tis my dream car
I need to visit that junkyard
For the color wrap it in a pearl white with pink and for the wheels what ever you want but in a bronze finish that would look amazing
Indy Yellow Pearl or Grand Prix White. Either of those colours would be a standout and look mint. To add that lil bit extra would be a black roof. 👌
Go with a dark primer, 3 coats of Milano red and 3 coats of clear with little bit of flake and some bronze te37’s or if you want to POP…. Dark primer, 2 coats candy brandy wine with 2 shades of clear mixed in with flakes and some white TE37’s

Keep it green! Love the color and it’s unique
Paint it a candy red and get some Work Meister S1 3-Piece matte gunmetal / Bronze polish lip. Beauty combo.
Go for the Acura Valencia Red Pearl from the modern NSX.
Keep the green, British racing Green is one of the best colours.
Plus it's a factory.
Please keep the green ❤❤
Hoping he builds this OEM+ 👌🏼
I think you should go for some deep dish silver BBS wheels for the NSX it’ll look really good
LM or LMR'S
Do like a bright-burnt yellow base with a 90's style off-teal decal. Like the "sun rays" from the Japanese flag. Centered on the front and "raying" towards the rear. I know that sounds stupid but throw it in a program and see what it looks like. Play with the colors a bit. Maybe orange or purple rims. I think that would look absolutely wild, but if done right it could look lowkey amazing.
